Robstown 38 Port Isabel 42 / Final While we are definitely heartbroken that Robstown does not advance to the area playoff round, we are extremely proud of the Cotton Pickers for breaking a 12 year playoff drought (and during the Cotton Picker Centennial)! After a wonderful performance this morning at the UIL State Marching Band Championship, Robstown did not make it to the State Finals. However, we remain very proud of the “Big Red Band from Pickerland.” We thank all students and staff for their hard work. We also thank family, friends, and fans that came to the San Antonio Alamodome to support the Big Red Band! We remain faithful and united for our Robstown Cotton Pickers. Go Red!!! #RobstownProud
The Robstown Cotton Pickers have made history in an already banner year for the Centennial anniversary. Our “Big Red Band from Pickerland” is going to State! We are beyond proud of the stellar work of the students and staff. It is just another testament to the belief that all our fans and our alums everywhere have always known. The day of great achievement is just around the corner for Robstown. As alums ourselves, we knew the high school band had the right program and leadership in place for this enormous victory.
