I appreciate everyone being patient with me. I wish that I could be in the shop sharpening, but unfortunately I am out of commission for another few weeks. I appreciate everyone’s understanding!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to perform skate work for the next few weeks as I broke my leg during a hockey game this evening. If you’re in need of a sharpening done by hand, reach out to me and I can set you up with someone who has a similar set up as I do. Thank you for your support.

I have 3/8" on the wheel right now for you crazy folks that like things Extra Spicy! Let me know if you need your wheels tuned up!!

This guy was telling me how he wanted a little more bite, but NEEDED to keep the glide of his 3/4" ROH sharpening. Instead of suggesting a FBV sharpening, I offered the following:

-30/60 CAG one profile
- 1" (yes 1") ROH sharpening

This provides him with more blade contact (60 mm to be exact) on the ice which makes the shallow sharpening feel about 4 times more sharp than if the CAG one profile was not on there. This profile will make you feel more "planted" on the ice because of the amount of blade in contact with the ice. Paired with the blade tech blades, you can't go wrong!!

I have performed many of these profiles, and everyone has nothing but good things to say about it! Reach out if you are interested. It is well worth the investment!

This upcoming weekend, I am planning to acquire a Cag One skate profiler, a tool designed to create a customized flat area on skate blades. This feature allows users to tailor their skates to optimize performance based on their skating style. By adjusting the flat spot's position, individuals can enhance forward lean for more aggressive acceleration or achieve smoother transitions with a rear lean for defensive maneuvers. The measurement system employs a numerical format, such as 30/60, where the the second number denotes the length of the flat spot in millimeters and the first number indicates the amount of flat area is forward of the middle of the blade, also in millimeters.
