Rochester Building Trades Vice President Joe Comfort spoke today at the TRACS Program press conference along with Monroe County Executive Adam J. Bello and Joe Morelle Jr of Unicon Rochester. Monroe County and COMIDA will be investing into this pre apprentiship program to give individuals a pathway to a Union construction job.

Glaziers Local 677 Business Representative Joe Comfort was invited to attend President Joe Biden’s press conference about Micron. Micron is the largest construction project in the history of the country that’s being built just outside of Syracuse New York. This is also the largest Project Labor Agreement(PLA) in the history of the country as well. Glaziers Local 677 members along with the rest of the Union Construction Building Trades will be building this microchip manufacturing facility for the next 20 years. We are very proud to be apart of this massive project!
