In his role as an interventional orthopedic specialist (and as a marathon runner himself!) he enjoys running/race medicine, and helping patients through acute and chronic sports medicine injuries.
When he's not practicing medicine, he loves spending time with his wife Emily and their dog, Diggs, cheering on the Bills 🦬, and preparing for their new arrival this fall. 👶 🥰

At RRH, our team truly makes us who we are. Today, we're proud to highlight one of our incredible team members, Javannah Davis. 🙌
Community members may recognize Javannah for her role as Honorary Marshal for the 2024 Rochester Pride Parade - but she’s ALSO an incredible nurse at our Wegman Family Cottages, a graduate of the Isabella Graham Hart School of Nursing, and the founder of WAVE Women, Inc., a local nonprofit created to empower, support, encourage, inspire, elevate voices, promote visibility, educate, advocate, create mutual aid support, provide community resources, and bring hope to the underserved BIPOC transgender and gender non-conforming individuals in our community. 🏳️⚧️
Thank you to Javannah for sharing her story, her time, and her gifts with our team members, patients, and the community.
We’re Here for Geneva. 🙌
Yesterday, we broke ground on what will be our 58,000-square-foot Geneva Medical Campus, scheduled to open in 2025. This new state-of-the-art facility will bring both new and pre-existing practices together in one central location, including:
🟦 Adult Primary Care
🟦 Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology
🟦 Behavioral Health
🟦 Cardiology
🟦 Endocrinology
🟦 General and Vascular Surgery
🟦 Laboratories
🟦 Lipson Cancer Center – Infusion
🟦 Neurosciences
🟦 Oncology
🟦 Obstetrics and Gynecology
🟦 Orthopedics
🟦 Pediatrics
🟦 Urgent Care
🟦 Urology
The center will also house a full imaging suite with MRI, CT, x-ray, mammogram, DEXA (bone density), and ultrasound capabilities. It will also include a physical therapy gym and a full procedure suite.
In addition to bringing multiple healthcare services together in one convenient location, the project will revitalize a large, neglected property along one of Geneva’s busiest streets through modern building design, updated landscaping, and by reclaiming nearly one-third of the existing parking lot for sustainable green space. 🌳

📣 NEWS: We're thrilled to to announce a significant medical breakthrough in Upstate New York, brought to our region by the incredible team at the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute.🫀
This morning, at Rochester General Hospital, Jeremiah Depta, MD, alongside esteemed colleagues, Farhad Abtahian, MD; Bipul Baibhav, MD; David Corteville, MD; and Scott Feitell, MD, performed the region's first implantation of the EVOQUE transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement system (TTVR).
"The EVOQUE TTVR system represents a paradigm shift in cardiac care," says Dr. Depta, "and this development underscores our commitment to pioneering state-of-the-art medical treatments and improving patient outcomes."
This groundbreaking procedure utilizes a newly FDA-approved therapy, marking a pivotal advancement in the treatment of tricuspid regurgitation. This condition, characterized by improper closure of the tricuspid valve, resulting in blood backflow into the right atrium, can now be addressed through this innovative, minimally invasive approach - without the need for open-heart surgery.
Every Heart, Everywhere - We're Here For It. 🩵
Please join us in welcoming Daniel Sutton, MD, to our Orthopedic Surgery team!
Dr. Sutton is an orthopedic surgeon with expertise in total joint replacement. He specializes in sports medicine, shoulder surgeries, and knee surgeries.🦵

Dr. Sutton will be seeing patients at our Orthopedics locations in Batavia and Medina, and is accepting new patients! To make an appointment, please call (585) 343-9676.
For years, Wanda suffered from major fatigue, swelling, nausea, and trouble breathing, caused by a potentially life-threatening issue with her heart, known as tricuspid regurgitation.🫀
Thanks to Dr. Jeremiah Depta, Dr. Cameron Hall, and the Structural Heart Program at the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute, Wanda became the youngest person in the Americas to receive a TricValve implant, and her life has improved significantly.
We're here for Wanda - and we're here to meet you where you are. For everything that matters to you, We’re Here for It. 🩵

Nothing ruins a holiday weekend quite like some mac salad that's been sitting out a little too long... 🤢
So unless you want to deal with some unexpected (and unpleasant) fireworks this weekend, remember to keep an eye on those cold salads and leftover hot dogs, and cook all grillables to the recommended temperatures! 🌭

Meet Jonah, one of the many special therapy dogs we partner with from RocDog.
Jonah is a rescue dog who actually spent his first year in a home that did not work out. When he was about 10 months old, his family called a trainer and wanted to rehome him. While he may not have been a good fit for his first family, he was still a very good dog, and loved spending time with others. He started taking his first training classes to become a therapy dog, and received his certification in June of 2022.
According to his current owners, "Jonah took to this work like a duck takes to water. If ever a dog was meant to be a Therapy Dog, it's him."
Since becoming a therapy dog, Jonah has made over 1,000 visits and averages about 50 visits per month! Some of the special work he's doing includes visits to patients in local inpatient psychiatric facilities, inpatient chemical dependency facilities, and hospice.
Thank you to Jonah's family and to RocDog for sharing him with our staff and patients here at RRH - he is so loved! 🩵
Congratulations to the 2024 graduates from the Rochester General College of Health Careers and the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing! 🎓
More than 60 future nurses crossed the stage last night to receive their degree in either Practical Nursing or Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) to become registered nurses through hands-on training and instruction from clinical experts.
These new grads will surely go on to serve the community well - and we are proud to say that nearly all will be starting or continuing to serve our patients at Rochester Regional Health.
Best wishes to all the graduates and congrats again on a job well done! 🩵

On Monday, more than 30 recruits from ten different law enforcement agencies joined mental health professionals from our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) in Clifton Springs to learn how to respond to mental health crisis calls and connect individuals in crisis to the help they need, safely.
“How do we teach these new recruits, how do we teach them to recognize it, in the crisis moment, and then we can take over,” said Beverly Prince, licensed clinical social worker at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
“I learned some incredible communication skills, how to talk to people, how to get them back to a place where I can communicate with them effectively,” said Nate Jacon, recruit for the Geneva PD. “A lot of our calls, we’re going to someone, it’s their worst day and they rely on us to know what to do, how to help them in a matter of moments.”
We are so grateful to be a part of the team working to improve mental health care and safety for all in our communities.
🙏 A special thanks goes out to the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy for their partnership on this important public health initiative, and to Wellspring Church for allowing us to use their space for training!

Hello! We're Rochester Regional Health. 👋
Since our first days as an integrated health system in 2014, and with roots in the communities we serve dating all the way back to 1864, we've weathered our fair share of storms - from lake-effect blizzards to pandemics, and everything in between.
In just 10 years, we've grown from an organization of 12,000 to more than 20,000. We've gone from serving the Greater Rochester area to serving patients across Batavia, the Southern Tier, Newark and Clifton Springs, and all the way north to St. Lawrence County. We've partnered, educated, employed, connected and healed across suburban, urban, and rural communities alike.
And now, it's time that our shared identity reflect where we've been, who we are today, and who we hope to be in the future. And wherever that future takes us, whatever our communities and patients need us for, We're Here for It.

Rochester Regional Health - We're Here for It. Whether it's your first day, best day, or worst day, we're here to meet you where you are. Whatever you need, from every age to every stage, across every service line, and every symptom. Whatever it is, we're here for it.
2024 is poised to be a transformative year for Rochester Regional Health. 💫
But to know where we're going, we need to acknowledge where we’ve been – and since our formation in 2014, we’ve been through a LOT together.
We’ve always been a strong, hardworking team made up of individuals who choose to uplift humanity through care for our community and help others lead healthy, fulfilling lives. And when we look back at our earliest days and every day since, we can see the cornerstones of who we are and what we value.
As we continue to grow in our reach, our services, and our purpose, we invite you to take a look back through the years with us to see how we became who we are today - before we share who we will continue to be in the many years to come. 💙

Our Story
Rochester Regional Health was formed in 2014 with the joining of Rochester General and Unity Health systems.
These organizations share legacies that go back generations, to visionary physician and community leaders who had a passion for caring for the sick and injured families who lived in the region. That passion has been demonstrated repeatedly since the systems' earliest days.
It was natural, therefore, that these like-minded systems - united in their missions to heal and serve people and their communities - would come together. Now, as one organization, Rochester Regional brings to its mission a broad spectrum of resources, an ability to advocate for better care, a commitment to innovation and an abiding dedication to caring for the community.
In keeping with the founders' pioneering spirit, Rochester Regional has a bold vision for transforming healthcare. It is a vision that expands beyond the traditional hospital setting to help people maintain good health in their everyday lives.
Although the system includes five hospitals, we serve the community as a truly integrated health services organization. Our network includes hospitals and physicians, ElderONE/PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and home health programs, outpatient laboratories, rehabilitation programs and surgical centers, independent and assisted living centers and skilled nursing facilities. We serve families in communities across Western New York and the Finger Lakes region.
This new direction is the result of years of careful planning, in anticipation of healthcare's historic transition to a value-based care model designed to improve the overall health of individuals and communities. That transition is now underway - and our network, our people and their dedication to excellence and our commitment to this region and the people who live here, all ensure that we are well-positioned to thrive in the future.
