Hey Folks- I've spent the morning testing my setup for tonight's performance. Lots of moving pieces. I plan on taking a 15-minute break halfway through. At that time, I will be playing a video of how I make my backing tracks and how a lot of this stuff works. I just hope my system can handle it and won't crash. It looks like the weather will cooperate as well. The photo below is what you don't see. This is a view from my seat. I'm controlling the broadcast from the iPad on the left. Another iPad in my teleprompter. My feet control the backing tracks, Vocal Harmonizer, Reverb/Delay, etc. Everything is wired over to my Mac that will be broadcasting via OBS to Facebook Live. I'm up for the challenge and hope you can join me to watch it possibly fail! HAHAHAHA
If you have not saved the link for the live show, here it is...

Hey Folks - The Atalaya Arts and Craft show in Huntington Beach was a huge success! Although tropical storm Ophelia provided a rocky start, the weather quickly turned on a dime to reveal a beautiful Saturday and Sunday. Sales were through the roof. Now as I pack up to head back home, I was greeted with this beautiful sunrise. Two main featured pieces (Ms. Majestic and Horns of Atlantis) now have new families. Bitter sweet to part with these guys, but what a wonderful job they both did for several shows this year, putting many smiles on faces who were admiring them. Although the show was very successful, what I enjoyed the most, was that my beautiful bride Heather was here to share the experience with me. Time to get back in the shop. Cheers!

Hey folks - I've been very busy in the shop making more product for up and coming shows. Here is my latest. Her name is "Droplet". 10 inches wide 16 inches tall. Her sexy body is made of African Padauk. This vase not only is shaped like a drop of water, but also features multiple patches shaped like droplets as well. Each patch contains a mosaic inlay. Every mosaic piece is also shaped like water droplets. Several hundred pieces all wrapped in copper. The woods used in the mosaics are Purpleheart, Canary wood and Angelim. If you want to see her up close, c'mon out to Art in the Park (Blowing Rock, NC) Saturday 14th. I'll even let you touch her! Back to the shop. I have many more on deck. Cheers!
Still busy in the shop. Building out my next mosaic inlay vase. Anyone interested in a game of hoop? 🤪

Biography
As an artist, one of the biggest joys in life is to see the look of awe and excitement in the eyes of those that view my work. After hours of designing, cutting, shaping, gluing, sanding and finishing, it’s so satisfying to see the smile and twinkle of approval in the eyes of my clients.
I was born in Rome, New York. Having grown up in the foothills of the great Adirondack Mountains, my love of nature inspired my artistic vision throughout my life. While walking though a forest I would often marvel at the complexity and beauty of nature. I have always been fascinated by nature's pallet of beauty in the form of grain, color and texture. I was even more intrigued, at a young age, how others reacted to such beauty as well. When I would see a smile, the look of surprise and satisfaction of someone viewing art, I would immediately think how honored and humbled I would be if it was I that created that piece. These interests were cultivated over the years and developed when I opted for a degree in art and graphic design in college. This resulted in many artistic medium endeavors such as oil painting, pen and ink drawings.
However, it wasn’t until I was a homeowner that I recognized my true passion. I really missed my wood shop classes in junior and senior high. I was also a huge Norm Abram fan (from PBS Old Yankee Workshop) and always wished one day, I too, would have my own wood shop. After buying a few power tools to finish projects around the house and realizing how much I missed working with wood, one year I decided to make Christmas gifts for the family and that’s when I got hooked!
