Winthrop's athletic facilities are located off Eden Terrace in Rock Hill, SC, about a mile away from the beautiful university campus. Winthrop is home to some of the finest athletic facilities in the Big South and has won 69 Big South Championship titles.

This marks McGuire's third stint with the Eagle program as he spent 12 seasons as an assistant coach from 1997-2002 and again in 2006-2011.
