This week we had a Coaching the Coaches clinic on Monday - the coaches SHOWED up! We played soccer for an hour and a half in the rain & it was great!
Tuesday it was a day for the kids! So many U5-U10 players came by and had themselves a day!

Thank you Ed for your time and expertise! And thank you coaches, players, and parents for your assistance!

Next week our coaches clinic will be pushed to Wednesday (more to come!) & we'll have one more summer clinic for the kids.

This team played like a Bulldog all weekend.

They came out 1st in their group and battled hard in the semifinal game. It was probably the best game MTOC had all weekend. They showed everyone watching that you play until the last whistle.

They were down 3-0 at the half and came back to tie with 3 goals within 5 minutes. The last one, with seconds left on the clock. They went down 4-3 in the first OT and tied 4-4 in the second OT. They went down 3-2 in PKS and WON 4-3!

In the final game, they battled hard and came just a goal short.

Rockland 5/6 Division 2 Walo, RYS is very proud of you.

#1 in their division for the regular season &
#2 in the State

As the Boys 6.2 Walo team prepares for the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (MTOC), we have a unique opportunity to support LGBTQIA+ youth in Central Massachusetts through a special initiative.

Mass Youth Soccer is partnering with Safe Homes, an organization dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ youth. One of the ways we can show our support is by collecting brand-new makeup donations to contribute to their cause at MTOC.

Well now there's something a little extra!! From the Rev's:

"I’m offering up 2 pairs of player mascot spots to Rockland. These are the kids that meet the entire team in the tunnel pre-match and walk out with a player before the start of the game. Truly an incredible experience and unforgettable memory for the kids that get to take part!
I will draw winners one week from today on Tuesday June 4th at 5PM. Any Rockland families who have not yet redeemed their player ticket(s) yet will need to do so before then to be in with a chance to win! All previous purchasers are already in the draw!"

How fun is that?! Fingers crossed for everyone that's entered!! I know I'll be buying our tickets soon to try to win!

The new board positions are voted by families and volunteers.

TONIGHT! Thursday, June 13th at 6:30PM is our Year-end coaches meeting at Esten Elementary School. This will include voting for Age Directors and several Board Positions. Please join us for this important meeting for all coaches, volunteers, and ANYONE interested in running for Age Director or Board positions! You do not need to be a coach to be on the board!

TOMORROW, Thursday, June 13th at 6:30PM is our Year End Coaches Meeting which will include Voting for Age Directors and Several Board Positions.
