We found several subtle pneumonias requiring antibiotics amid the many recent COVID evaluations using ultrasound in the office. This is not one of those. This is an office ultrasound (POCUS) done to diagnose and estimate size of a pleural effusion (fluid around the lung) suspected on chest x-rays of a pneumonia diagnosed in the ER earlier this month.
