Announcement: Starting Wednesday July 31at 12:00 pm we will be serving a Hot meal at the U-Turn for Christ Charity Store parking lot next to Riverside Park. We look forward to the opportunity to reach the unhoused community in a new location that isn't in the park. We look forward to seeing you there.

We advocate for the safety and wellbeing of our unhoused community members. We strive to meet their essential needs. We serve hot meals, and we do street outreach, We have community partnerships with St. Vincent's De-Pauls and Southern Oregon Pathways
We provide on-the-spot trauma informed substance abuse counseling assessments and substance abuse counseling and peer support, with a focus on behavior modification and life skills training.

I am blessed and honored to be a part of this amazing outreach group Compassion In Action Community and Volunteers serves a hot meal prepared by St. Vincent's DePaul every Wednesday at Riverside Park by 7th street Bridge at 12:00 pm
Southern Oregon Pathways provides on the spot assessments and trauma informed addiction counseling services. What we can't do alone we can do together, changing lives for the better.

I am honored to officially announce our partnership with Southern Oregon Pathways. Southern Oregon Pathways leads the way in trauma informed substance abuse counseling and treatment. Tawnya Freudenthaler is the founder and lead Counselor at Southern Oregon Pathways. She has helped many people succeed in recovery
God has been orchestrating our partnership in our minds for quite some time he now has opened the door. I'm excited to see what he is going to do.
Dove Ministries and Southern Oregon Pathways have entered into a strategic plan in our community to help save the lost. Josephine County has found favor with us and granted us funding to continue our work.
We are not just a soup line that hands out free stuff, we help them change their lives and situation. We sit with them and listen to their stories and how they got where they're at, we find tangible ways to help, not just enable.
I believe God is on the move for his people, we pull them out one at a time and walk them through their crisis.. He will receive the glory.

We Hope you all had a great summer. After much prayer and anticipation it's time for us to begin a new season.
Compassion In Action will be hosting a weekly fellowship at Riverside Park under the 7th St. Bridge.
Dove Ministries,
Bethel Christian Center and Tashuvah Ministries have partnered to host this community event. If you are interested in joining us in our mission to share the good news of salvation and help the less fortunate in our community then show up we'd love to talk to you. 💕💘💕💘💕💘💕Our community Valentine's Day outreach was a success. We had a great time. We served more then 50 individuals, they received information about community resources, food, clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, hygiene supplies and haircuts compliments of Phagans' Grants Pass College of Beauty. I'd like to thank everyone here for the donations of their time, money and resources. Cartwright's Market helped provide food for the pot luck. Christine Locke did a fabulous job coordinating this event. We had volunteers from 2 churches, Jenny Farmer, Sandra and Lynne Slager from Grace Baptist Church and Pastor Tom from Bethel, we also had a representative from Options,The Soroptimist Club, Love In Action and everybody's people plus Dennis and Ruth from PATH.(Partners Assisting The Homeless)
It was a great turnout. God is good, I am confident that together we can make a difference. Thankyou
