Reminiscing about my time in Banff national park. This one was taken at the Vermilion Lakes in Alberta Canada.

Close up on the Milky Way. Taken with a 200mm lens and stacked in a program called Sequator. Amazing what you can capture without a telescope.

A composite taken at Mt Tamalpais. Initially I didnt like the light pollution coming from San Francisco, but now I like it for bring more attention to the Milky Way.

My first Milky Way Composite. Taken at Bodega Bay, CA.
I set up my tripod and took 9 milky way shots. I then waited for blue hour and took the foreground shot. I combined all the pictures in Photoshop and this is the result.

This Mt Rainier photo was back during my PNW road trip. I was under prepared for the cold and there was heavy fog. But I waited for a clearing in the fog. This was a brief glimpse. For more of my work and prints check out my website.

First time using an ND filter to get a a smooth fog effect. Still need more practice and planning but I love how it turned out. Taken on Mt Tamalpais. Check out my website for more of my work.

This was the first vertical panorama I did in astrophotography. Really helps to bring out the detail. Taken at Shark Fin Cove.
