What’s up OTF Roseville! Fit tip of the week coming at you! This week we are talking about the Burpee! We want to make sure you are protecting your low back, hips, knees, and ankles with proper form! Starting with setting your feet wide, this will allow you to squat down then reach for the ground. Much like a squat your legs will be bracing you instead of your low back. When your feet go back make sure to stay wide. That will make it easier to keep your feet wide when your feet come forward! See you around the studio!

Something you can do before you start the chest press is to feel the 45 degree bend of your elbows! This will protect your shoulders and allow your chest to take more of the workload. The first is not staying down low in a squat, the second is not keeping our feet wide! Staying low will maximize the movement and burn up the lower half, staying wide will help pervert injury.
