PRO TIPS: High Maintenance Color 🌟🌟 • I love my dimensional blondes, but my platinums (high maintenance) have a special place in my heart! 💗 • Here are my top 5 tips for maintaining your hair in between appointments: • -Appointments should be scheduled every 4-6 weeks. Going longer than that makes it more difficult to keep your outgrowth maintained, and could possibly become a color correction. • -ONLY use professional products on your hair! Grocery store shampoo is not going to keep your color at a premium. Professional products are meant to help maintain your hair color and health. • -Avoid shampooing your hair daily. The more you shampoo the quicker the color & toner fade. If you normally shampoo daily, try skipping a day or two. Use dry shampoo in between to keep your hair looking fresh. • -Always use a heat protectant on your hair! heat protectant will add a barrier between your hair and your styling tools. It also helps protect your hair in the sun as well. • -Use a weekly hair mask. Adding a mask will provide extra moisture to your hair and add an additional layer of protection. Maybe not the most popular opinion, I absolutely think specializing is a great thing! • We are magicians, therapists, scientists, and all around miracle workers, here are 3 reasons that I think specializing in one or two things is a great idea! • 1- If you are focusing on one or two things that you specialize in you will become a master at it. Practice makes perfect! You also will become much more productive, because you have mastered exactly what steps are needed and not needed! • 2- You will attract exactly what you want. You will create your dream clientele! You will be valued by the clients looking for your specialty. Although I absolutely love creative colors, I’m not your girl! 🤷🏼‍♀️ • 3- Lastly, as a specialist you can optimize your supplies. For me, I only carry inventory that I know I’ll use. With the cost of everything right now, I am trying to keep my costs down, and by specializing in blondes, I don’t have to carry inventory on colors I absolutely won’t use! • Do you specialize?
