Artists-at-Large is thrilled to announce our first reception in 2 years! Please join us as we celebrate the closing of Get Close. In the fall of 2021, photographer Mike Ritter thought it would be nice to create portraits in celebration of households weathering the storm together and friends and families’ ability to see one another again. This became Get Close, a project where for a day Mike set up an outdoor studio in Dorchester Park and photographed whoever was interested. Some of these delightful portraits are on display in the circulation area. Mike will be setting up his studio at the library. Stop by with family and friends and be prepared to Get Close! One free portrait and others are available at reasonable prices.
