A new Experimental Comics project is in da woiks from Jeaux Janovsky: Hey to my 1 dedicated fan/follower/friend- I'm not sure if you've noticed (or not), but I haven't posted ANY new artwork in a good while. I appreciate that you've been liking/looking at/enjoying my old stuff I've been posting lately... What's that they say? About everything old is new to somebody? 🤔 So thank you. Truth is, I think I've been feeling a bit depressed lately? I haven't been able to pick up my blessed pencils/pens and put line to my beloved sketchbook for weeks/months now, so when I do- it feels like climbing a mountain. I began feverishly working on a new Dingbert & Lemmy 8 pager minicomic just to have "something" to pass out at this year's San Diego Comic Con and not feel like a loser- and don't get me wrong, the chicken scratch page thumbnails are coming out top-notch!!! But I just... Stopped. I stopped because I didn't want to rush the project. I stopped because I realized that it's ok to not have anything to pass out, and that I won't be a loser for doing so. That I can just attend SDCC as an attendee just for the pure sake of the experience, and bask in it. To just be in the moment with Xaviera/ and enjoy. I think this 8 pager DB & Lem minicomic is going to be bigger than just a rush job and some of my recent funniest and best cartooning/story work to date. These lovable as***le Cat and Mouse characters are truly helping get my cartooning mojo back, and for that I'm forever grateful to them. Heck yeah! I think I may need some help and run a GoFundMe to help print up the minis after SDCC, and get it done slowly, correctly, and right. Slow and steady wins the race. The as***les (and me) are back, baby! Bloob!!! ❤️

Today (Nov 19th) Elf On The Shelf: Sweet Showdown premieres on Food Network at 8pm, and the day after on HBO Max (I think)! I illustrated all the onscreen cake build shelf art sketches that pop up and get animated. I'm very proud of every piece I did, and would be very happy and appreciative if you are able to watch all the episodes! Thanks friends! ❤️

Repost : 🏆🤘🏼💕 This is a complete badge of honor. I wear my Boneyard stripes proudly. I earned my Boneyard Thug Immortalis baptism in the annals of Boneyard infamy when I was still in my infancy. I always tend to downplay myself, I never realize or give myself the credit I deserve, that I am deserving of... I don't know where that comes from... Low self esteem? Maybe. Who knows? It's time to quit all that bu****it and begin clawing at/for my credits and freelance kills. Mercenary style. Take no prisoners. Hart has always been a big brother to me. A role model. A mentor. A friend. Someone I looked/and still look up to. Someone who took a chance on me and could see the rough diamond that I never could and am only just now beginning to scratch the surface of catching occasional shines and glistens. He's helped me sharpen that pickaxe, to believe in myself and unleash all the diamonds hidden in that dark and murky cave called me. On the phone with Hart a few months/years(?) back, I recall him calling me a comics Veteran. I truly took that to heart, Hart. Thank you. I try to remember that. I try to remember everything I learned from him when I was that young, punk kid running and trying to keep up with the rest of the Boneyard wolves in Hart's wolf pack. 🐺🌕

Anyhow, I'm honored that Hart put up a picture of he and I as his Facebook cover photo, when I was still in highschool (circa '95)- together at my very 1st official 27 (😳) years ago at the now defunct (RIP) comic store! There I am with the /.fisher himself, aka "The ", and lil' 18 year ol' scruffy peach-fuzzed me- billed as " Boy": J. Janovsky. This was 3 years before earning my / terrorism " " mantle! 🤘🏼🔥
