Call it the downside of crocheting around kids. Sometimes I count wrong. Didn't notice until tonight though and now 2 weeks worth of work down the drain 😭
The Grandma Nana blanket was a special commission. My sister in law wanted to represent each grandchild for her mom. They're represented chronologically with pink stripes for girls and dark grey for boys.
For the whole design process, check out my Instagram highlight "Let's Design". One of my greatest pleasures in life is helping people create and design their own special memories!
Pattern: My own design

My time to crochet is declining rapidly, sitting upright is so uncomfortable! We can't wait to meet this little one in a few more weeks! I promise I'll get the crojo back soon.

Baby #4 coming early June! I'm ready for newborn pictures!
I'm so excited to be providing some of the prizes for people this year again!
YOU’RE INVITED!
It’s that time of year again…in honor of The Annunciation, we are hosting a virtual baby shower for Mary, with all items being donated to a Catholic maternity home!
We have hosted a baby shower for Mary for the past two years, and you all blow us away with your generosity. 😭 Last year you donated over $12,000 worth of items!
The Catholic maternity home gives pregnant women a safe, nurturing, faith-filled environment to grow their babies in peace.
👉🏼 Not only does the home help them during pregnancy, but it helps them afterwards too. They help the women open bank accounts, get jobs, help them through the adoption process if that’s what they choose, save up for a down payment on an apartment/house, and all around just helps them get up on their feet and gives them the skills and resources needed to care for their babes and be successful. 💕
Here’s how it works:
1.) I post the link to an Amazon baby registry.
2.) You purchase items off the list to help mamas and babies and need. They will ship directly to the maternity home.
3.) That’s it!
🎁 Every item purchased earns you an entry into winning a prize from one of many Catholic businesses who have graciously donated items from their shops

For the babies! ✊🏼🤰🏻🥰

This rainbow star is heading for an important toddler's Christmas tree next week!
Pattern: 6 Day star from Betty McKnit (although it's WAY bigger than the original and took many more days 😂)
Yarn: 2 skeins of Bonus Bundle Mandala in Giant and a border from my unlabeled stash.
People really underestimate the time and money that goes into handcrafted items!
This tag though 🤣 I don't think I could ever, but I'm tempted.
Data. Crochet.
I love living my life.
Cuddle up with data! Over the first year of her child’s life, our Senior Research Analyst and Project Lead Stephanie Quesnelle crocheted a blanket of the high temperature of the day wherever in the world they slept. From dark navy blue for high temps below 22F, to burgundy for temps over 90F, a beautiful data collaboration with nature.
I ordered myself 2 cakes of Meowth and need to know what you think I should do with it?!
Hats and scarves are currently available to order for 12 and 18 inch dolls! Just fill out the commission form on my page by November 15th for guaranteed Christmas gift delivery.
Same pattern. Same size yarn.
Two different size needles!
I've been learning so much about how to change the size and shape of a stitch by changing out different components.
I've been quiet the last couple weeks cause growing a human is taking most of my energy! I barely have the brain space to do laundry and cook much less be creative.
Hopefully we'll turn the corner soon and I'll get back to regularly scheduled posting. In the mean time I fixed our Michigan hat for Baby Quatro!
This week you can bid on a blanket from me and help support church renovations in North Carolina! There's many other awesome auction items. Check it out.

Thanks for following along the last 12 days for all of my lessons learned while creating the temperature blanket.
Here's a bonus tip...ENJOY IT! This was one of my most rewarding projects and I know we are going to love it forever.
If you missed any tips, they're all saved on an Instagram highlight.
This blanket is made out of alpaca yarn and a modified moss stitch (super chunky yarn so I chained 2 instead of 1).
Super interested in any tips for making alpaca yarn shed a little less before I try to sell this!
"It's part of us, it's just the culture. I'm changing it. No paper bags. Ski masks, we're taking what's ours." -Gardner-Johnson
A client reached out a few weeks ago and said..."Can you do this?" I said, "That's my favorite question. Let me find out."
The hardest part was finding the right color blue yarn. I'm so excited to mail this out tomorrow so he can enjoy his visit to Ford Field later this month.
The best part of helping my mom finish these blankets is experimenting with new borders!
Limited Christmas Release!
Pie pan holders $10 (also have pink in stock)
Washclothes $6
Local pick up (Royal Oak) or add shipping!
We were snuggled under this 9 foot and I was just so curious how much it weighs.
Pulled out the scale...8.5 lbs!
It's the coziest blanket in the house for sure.
What questions do you all have about temperature blankets? I'm starting to put together a few things about it.
I'm obsessed with making baby doll items now. They're such a fun way to introduce kids to handmade items and I allowed my daughter full creative direction in making everything.
It's . These little cup cozies can be made to size for your favorite coffee mug. Add a little more joy to your mornings for only $6.
I have 3 of these pink/creme/brown available. Check out my Available album on FB! Link on bio.
Welcome to Qutely Crocheted! I am the maker of all the beautiful things you will find in this page. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was little but in the last two years as a mom to three small kids, I have found myself experimenting more with stitches and colors. I love dreaming up new items like my helmets that I've been able to turn into other sports teams. I am so excited to share this new journey with you! And shout-out to my talented cousin for the great headshot 🎉. Creative talent runs in the .
