My whole life I was made to feel like a weirdo because I thought, communicated and learned differently than others.
Although that messed me up and sticks with me forever it also gave me the courage to make myself happy and put myself in a happy healthy environment.

Insane was written almost 10 years ago at a time in my life where I was getting fed up with how cruel the world was towards mental health.
It’s not something to take lightly and if we normalize talking about it and taking care of ourselves, maybe just maybe there might be a little more love, compassion and understanding in this world.

Releasing this song was a big deal for me because it’s the first song I’d ever written that was so personal and real. My goal with this song is to show others that it’s ok to love yourself and be yourself. It’s ok to love all of this things about yourself that others may deem “weird” or “insane”
Enjoy the conversations you have with yourself. Jump around when you can’t sit still and if your mind won’t hush in the dead of night get up and creat or take that time to enjoy sitting with yourself.

I am truly grateful for all of the people in my life who accept me for me. Being around others who have grown up feeling the same way or similar has brought so much joy and clarity to my life.

Seeing this song come to life was a dream! And the amount of love this song is getting brings so much happiness to my heart.
