I make a lot of meaningful gifts for people, and it’s so fulfilling, but I love it when it’s my turn to give. I had an idea and, as usual, helped me knock it out of the park with an incredible, handcrafted poplar frame! This was a special piece for my favorite guy to commemorate the countless memories made in his old 1986 CJ-7 Jeep.

My son saw the small water bottles I made with the owners’s children’s names on them and said hey, I know those names! They go to my school! After asking some more questions, I found that their daughter is in fact in my son’s class! It was an absolute honor to be asked to collaborate once again with my friend Don at to create trophies for an event honoring a life ended too soon. The impact made within the fishing community and beyond was evident yesterday as I saw how many people came out to honor Ryan and support his sweet wife I was not privileged enough to know Ryan personally, but after seeing the impact he had on so many people, I certainly feel the loss. Thank you for allowing so many people to love on you and help you keep Ryan’s memory and spirit alive.
