General laborer

One last local shot before going to indeed, Paver/Concrete contractor!
-W2 employee
-90 day probation
-35+ HRS a week
-Pay range $20-$25 per hr (DOE)
-direct deposit every week
-must be able to lift 60+ lbs periodically through out most of the day
-Driver license a must (clean record/truck and trailer experience HUGE plus)
-Learn a trade (pavers/concrete)
-Have fun working
-Basic tool necessary, specialized tools supplied
-Experience a plus, hard working necessary!
-you will work with a 2-4 person crew.
-Small family owned business in Sacramento area.
-building a family/friendly work environment & culture.

Perks- learning a trade! Learn to drive skid steer machines! Get to work out and tan at the same time as getting a pay check.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday! This is to be able to enjoy family or friends and still have an after work life.

We are growing and continuing to cultivate a foundation of relationships and networking to have more opportunity to design people’s dreams one yard at a time throughout Northern California.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in sales (outside sales preferred)

Must have Valid CA Drivers License

Must have your own transportation and ability to get to and from your appointments

Must have excellent negotiation and sales skills with the willingness to go the extra mile to get the sale

Superb communication and people skills

MUST BE CREATIVE AND HAVE AN EYE FOR DESIGN

Strong math skills calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume

Confidence and motivation to work toward targets

Good organizational and time management skills

Ability to work well alone or within a team

Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving

Resilience to deal with customers who turn you down

Job duties include:

Develop relationships with current and potential customers within specific territory

Assist customers by educating them on products and product selection so you are able to present options and negotiate well with consumers

Understand our products, our market competition and, how to negotiate to overcome these factors

Manage current and future clients by bringing them samples, and selling tools for customer satisfaction

Quote prices, and prepare sales contracts for customers.

Estimate approximate job start times of jobs to customer, based on knowledge of company’s open job schedules

Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers

Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company’s work

Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information

Investigate and resolve customer claims/problems with materials or workmanship

Attend trade shows throughout the year as required

95% of travels will be within a 50 mile radius or approximately 1 hour drive from our office.

Perform additional duties as required and or requested

Pay is dependent on performance and experience.

This is a FULL COMMISSION PAY opportunity.

30 day probationary training period

Schedule

Weekdays Monday-Friday 8am-8pm availability mandatory (there will be drive times and gaps between appointments so you aren’t working 12 hours straight) most days these are not typical hours but appointment times may vary.

P.S. If you work 12 hours straight or more you will make a lot of money. This position is very rewarding to driven and motivated individuals.

Weekends are a plus but only mandatory during annual home shows throughout the year.

Occasional Golf tournaments and fishing days… (looking to find the right candidate to reserve these! 😂😂😂)
