Columbus Day

At a time when Catholic immigrants to the country were regarded with suspicion, the Order’s founders chose a Catholic namesake who symbolized courage, unity and the hope of building a new, inclusive society. Celebrate today’s U.S. federal holiday by learning more about Christopher Columbus’ complex, world-changing legacy. Courage and Conviction, a 30-minute documentary narrated by Chazz Palminteri, will air today, Oct. 9, on EWTN at 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET. The film and many more resources can be found at kofc.org/columbus.

Finally, a special thank you to all the knight families who are the foundation of society, especially all the lady knights whose love and support is crucial to the success of each brother knight and our councils.

Happy Father’s Day to our brother Knights who serve the Lord and their families through their fatherhood—like St. Joseph!

“Fathers are not born, but made. A man does not become a father simply by bringing a child into the world, but by taking up the responsibility to care for that child. Whenever a man accepts responsibility for the life of another, he becomes a father to that person.” – Pope Francis

Have Blessed Mother’s Day!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

We invite you to pause and say a prayer with us,

❤Loving God,
as a mother gives life and nourishment to her children,
so you give life and care for your Church.
Bless these women,
as we celebrate this day in their honor.
May they be strengthened as Christian mothers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
Grant that we, their sons and daughters,
may honor and appreciate them with a spirit of profound respect.
May the example of Mary,
mother of Jesus,
inspire them to live their vocation as Christian mothers
and call their children to faith.
Guide and protect them in challenging times
and help them to continue to trust in you
all the days of their life.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
Amen❤

Wishing everyone a very blessed Easter! Jesus is risen, alleluia!

Jesus, risen from the dead, is the Father’s answer to man’s brokenness. Uniting Himself to every man in temptation, suffering, and death, He also unites Himself to every man in His resurrection. –Born of Fire, By Fr. Innocent, CFR
