This Earth Day, join us in saying #NotTodayLandfill 🙅‍♂️ Fleet Feet Sacramento is now a participating TerraCycle US drop-off location in partnership with GU Energy Labs! Here’s how it works: 🌍 Save your sports nutrition wrappers from all brands instead of throwing them away. This includes gel, chew, stroopwafel, bar, drink mix wrappers and more. 🌍 Drop them off at Fleet Feet Sacramento’s TerraCycle bin near the nutrition section 🚮 🌍 Once our bin fills up, we send the wrappers to Terracycle. ♻️ The cumulative plastic packaging waste gets upcycled into raw material that is used in plastic products, such as shipping pallets, bike racks, park benches, recycling bins and more. In 2020, this program recycled over 449,000 nutrition packets - enough for 20 upcycled playgrounds! 👏Thank you for making a difference with us!!

If you’ve been to Run Crew or other events of ours, you’ve probably met local ultrarunner Jonathan Throne! He is on the Fleet Feet Racing Team and is one of the most dedicated runners we know 🏃‍♂️ If you need trail running advice, a route map, or someone to share some miles with, Jonathan is always the first to offer his knowledge and time. Fleet Feet and HOKA gave Jonathan the honor of being featured in their 2021 Humans of HOKA campaign. A short film is being released about Jonathan’s story and how running has changed his life. 🎥 We’re celebrating Jonathan with a trail run & viewing party for this 3-min film on Sunday 12/19 3:30pm at Overlook Park in Auburn.
