We are starting to see the SUNFLOWERS bloom here in our valley summer heat.

The sunlight coming through the Colorado Bridge in the Arroyo was magical. It was a great time to have my Canon while hiking in the area. (Pasadena, CA)

The flowering dogwood tree is giving a glorious preview this week. Decided to use the photo to produce some art. ENJOY.

Leaves are so much fun to work with in my photography art. They really take on a life of their own.

They are barely here and then they’re gone...

Twenty years ago they became popular in East Sacramento. So, along with the azaleas, camellias, sycamores and hydrangeas_ dogwoods are one of the icons of Sacramento… City Of Trees.

Peaceful drive in the greater Sacramento countryside of Sloughhouse. Very rural and this is also where a large vegetable and fruit stand opens in the summer.

Rose Screen Pattern 2020
This rose colored pattern is from a Japanese screen I photographed (Japan). The pattern is one small part of the screen and lends itself to multiple interpretations on various products. The Winter design is quite peaceful and simple.
