I might have lost my hair and lost hair in places I will not mention. 😳😮 But what I didn't lose is my sense of humor and my ability to make others laugh. I might look different but I will still cuss you.....I mean keep it 100. I actually like the new look. Damn Searcys have big heads!!! 😂😂😂 🙏🏿😍😁

Crockpot cabbage with diced bell peppers and diced ham. Garlic salt, onion powder, pepper, 2 cups of chicken broth and one stick of sliced butter. 6 hours on low. Easy and delicious. 😋 Thanksgiving side dish. 😊

Shouting and screaming, thank you GOD for letting me see age 53! My prayers were answered! Backstory: On August 17, I became very ill at work and decided to go to the emergency room to get checked out. I went there thinking one thing was wrong. But after the doctors did blood work and ran tests, I was told that the pathologist saw signs of leukemia. Yes, leukemia. I was completely blindsided and thought I was in a dream. They immediately transferred me to the Research hospital, oncology floor the next day. I saw several doctors and nurses. I was told that at a minimum I would be in the hospital for a month. I still couldn't wrap my brain around this life changing event. August 18, I was officially diagnosed with AML(acute myeloid leukemia)...blood cancer. I started my first round of induction chemotherapy on August 19. On September 11, the doctors told me that I responded to the treatment so well that I could go home on Thursday. GOD answered my prayers. I wanted to be home for my Birthday! Although I will only be home for 10 days and will have to visit the clinic during this time, I am glad to be home. After the 10 days home I have to go back into the hospital for my second chemotherapy treatment. I want to thank my tight circle of supporters for respecting my privacy and letting me tell my life changing experience when I was ready to tell it. I'm still trying to accept what is happening to me. I do know that GOD is not going to put no more on me than I can bare. I am strong and I am a fighter. I will get through this. All I ask from you is to pray for me while I walk this path that GOD has chosen for me. I have good days and bad days, but I am thankful to be alive! Happy Birthday to me!!! 🥳😁😍 I will beat this cancer! Just watch and see! 💪🏾🙌🏽
