Our team would like to give the warmest welcome to Calabria Group's newest team member, Emily Dees! June 19th marked the important national holiday of honoring the day all people living in the United States, including the formerly enslaved, were officially granted freedom through the Emancipation Proclamation. In honor of this holiday, we have highlighted a few ways to honor Juneteenth:
 
♦️Visit a Historical Site or Museum
 Find a place that celebrates black historical figures and learn more about those that came before us. The is a great place to admire African American history and culture.
 
♦️Education through Films
 Movies are a great way to observe Juneteenth while creating a discussion around Black History. Some of our film and documentary suggestions include: (Netflix), (Disney+), (Netflix) or (Amazon Prime).
 
♦️Have a Round Table
 Plan a special gathering with friends and family to honor Juneteenth. The conversation can surround historical events that have impacted your life, or even a specific person. Try creating goals surrounding social responsibility in the spirt of Juneteenth and set deadlines to keep you and others accountable!
