Home-made, gluten free, vegan and energy dense eats that are cultural, rich, healthy, nutritious, & So right then and there, I became gluten free.
In 2013, after struggling with stomach pains most of my life, a dear friend recommended I remove gluten from my diet (even though a blood allergy test came back negative for gluten allergy). So I did, and to my total surprise, since I had tried so many other things, most of my aches went away. I started baking my own bars, crackers, breads, you name it…and this product became a hit with all my fri
ends. I had many friends say 'Shaghig, you should sell these' but I just took that as a compliment and was proud that friends were enjoying them. They became the gifts I gave to many friends for Christmas. One day, I decided to have a 'tasting' at my house. I invited a close group of friends over and had them taste various flavors and fill out a survey critiquing various aspects of the bars…that night, after reading all the feedback, I decided to go for it. I'm a one women team, making them from home and still working on the fine details of making this a fun, manageable business. I love that so many people enjoy them, I really do. I've included some Middle Eastern ingredients in there that I grew up eating. I always wondered 'how else can I incorporate these in the food I eat' and one day, I decided to include them in an 'energy bar'…and here they are… I hope you enjoy them as much as I have been!!!
