A special thanks to Holly, Sean, and Dayleen for lending their musical talents during the retreat for a ceilidh, where attendees danced to the live music of the trio's fiddle, penny whistle, and tambour.

Our community came together last Sunday to celebrate our stewardship campaign: Embracing the Change, Moving Forward Together! Thank you to all the volunteers who decorated and provided a delicious brunch. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and treasures with Westminster!
We will be celebrating World Communion on Sunday, October 1st. Please consider bringing a bread item that reflects your family heritage or cultural background to be included on the Communion Table. For the 9 a.m. service, please drop off your contribution by 8:30 a.m.; for the 11 a.m. service, please drop off by 10:30 a.m. Just so you know, these bread items will not be used during the distribution of the elements. However, they will be shared with those interested after each service.
A look back at the super time we had at VBS! 🦸🦸♂️ In the depths of a colorful underground cave is the beating heart of the hero community, the Hero Hotline Headquarters, where everyone’s gifts are valued, and every hero has a role to play. As the kids (called Heroes) experienced these stories through music, drama and storytelling, games, arts and crafts, science, and even snacks, they learned that Heroes are called to Follow Jesus, Help Others, Work Together, Listen to God, and Show Grace! And best of all, they were invited to answer this call at VBS, church, home, and every area of their lives.
Thursday's Meditation
Our lessons for this Sunday come from Ezekiel 17:22-24 and Mark 4:26-34, both rich in agricultural imageries, and image of growth. What can they speak to us today?
Ascension Day- Mid-day Meditation
Today is Ascension Day according to the liturgical calendar. the ascension event is narrated in Luke 24:50-51. I know it may be hard for many of us to believe the historicity of the story, but it is part of the tradition that carried the first disciples through, and that sustained them after Jesus had left them.
