Ahhh, I didn’t knock the lid off the grain barrel. It was the other one over there!

So now you know.... for inquiring minds.......🤣

We try to take pictures of the new calves with their mom out in the pasture so that it is easier to ID them when they come into the corral for ear tags. We can look back and see who belongs to who and when they were born. Some ranchers will go out when the calves are first born to put a tag in the calf ear while the mom stands near by. I don't like to "poke the bear" so to speak.

The new additions at include our new Guernsey heifer calf and a batch of beautiful rabbits. A great thing to witness is the group of turtles that are out sunning on a log in the pond. Makes me happy!

We have been busy in between storms trying get a grip on the overgrown back part of the pasture. Ripping out blackberry vines on its own has opened up a lot of new grazing ground for the cows.
So much dead wood that we have been burning from the hillside, and the trees that have blown over with the last few storms is overwhelming!
We are getting a nice new set of calves being born too!

SHEEP and GOAT SHOW AND GROOMING EQUIPMENT is no longer needed with our family, so offering it to a family that can use it. 5 head rail to show off those lambs, tilt table to help with trimming their hooves, stop gates, sort panel, creep feeder panel, 3 stands available (one even lays flat and you can crank it up with an animal on it) to help with your show day grooming.

PIG SUPPLIES - We are cleaning out the barn and have a few items to offer! In our pig supply, we have our farrowing crates, pig/piglet water cups (makes less mess), belting to lay down in feed areas or bedding areas to help keep the pen clean, as well as heating mats for the young piglets.

Some flea bag decided that this was a good spot to dump off 17 old tires in front of my gate to my cattle pasture. Certainly wasn’t thinking about what it was going to cause me and my family to now have to clean this up! Let alone the cost they have now given to me. Several times a year we go along Lozanos Road and clean up the garbage people drop to keep our property clean, then to have someone do this in front of one of our main livestock gates infuriates me.

We are offering our Belarus 2011 Tractor, loader bucket and wood chipper package up for sale. Is currently not running, has been sitting for a few years but was a great start up tractor for us. Tractor has been used mostly for fence post drilling, as it had great down pressure. Needs clutch and battery. Mom, Mike and I got all of the cows vaccinated and wormed. 5 new calves ear tagged for identification and moved to a fresh pasture. They seem happy to get some grass and I am happy they are done!

We will be offering some of our hens to new homes in the next week or so. Our hens have been amazing with their egg production and most have been free range. If you may be interested in adding some hens to your rock, please let us know!
