Congratulations to Coach Matthew for being recognized as the employee of the month. It's clear that his hard work, dedication, and contributions have made a significant impact on our team here at SWSS!
Mathew is one of our most senior instructors and always knows how to make his students and coworkers laugh. He brings a great energy into work every single day that all of his kids love, and while he likes to have fun, Mathew still likes to instill a hard work ethic in all of his kids. Each student knows that they are going to swim hard and giggle even harder when they come to class each day. So join us in congratulating Coach Mathew in his well deserved award.

I chose Matthew to be " Student of the month", because he was the first student that I had the experience of teaching adaptive lessons too. While teaching Matthew he challenged me and my teaching style, which helped me get comfortable with using a different way of teaching my lessons. When Matthew first came to SWSS he was not comfortable in the water and is now able to do laps of rollovers unassisted. Congrats Matthew, I am so proud of the progress you have made and can't wait to see how much more you make.

Marina enjoys teaching at our Roseville location because she loves helping kids master new skills & watching them get excited about learning how to swim. In her free time, Ms. Marina loves playing video games & her 7 musical instruments. Her favorite color is sunset orange, favorite food is spaghetti with white sauce, & favorite animal is a giraffe. We appreciate everything that Ms. Marina does for us & the kids every day, & wish her luck on her path to becoming an animator & making her own cartoons!

Tyler most cherishes meeting new students and being able to teach them a valuable life skill! Tyler spends his days off with his friends watching movies and going to the gym. Miss Leila’s favorite part of working at SWSS, is that she loves building connections with the students and seeing them improve while promoting a fun environment. When not teaching at SWSS Miss Leila enjoys spending time with friends. Miss Leila has been here for about a year and we are excited to see her continue her growth with us!

Congratulations Mr. Spencer our EDH employee of the month. Spencer has been with us since October of 2021. Spencer enjoys making music, photography, & is engaged to be married to the love of his life. They built a yurt together to start their journey! He is currently pursuing his double major in civil and electrical engineering. Thanks for all your hard work! 🐳
