What could be better than painting with friends? We're always trying to find ways to entertain our young residents and keeping them busy -- and learning. Thanks to LifeSTEPS for putting together a kids version of Paint and Sip at Terracina Meadows in North Natomas (north Sacramento).

Dental health is a huge issue for seniors, with dental problems sometimes leading to other problems. LifeSTEPS recently held a Dental 101 session for seniors at Vintage at Stonehaven Apartments in Yorba Linda, detailing how they can take better care of their teeth and answering questions they may have. LifeSteps is a social-services partner at many of USA Properties Fund Inc.-managed communities.

The 284-apartment community -- which features one- to three-bedroom units -- should be completed in two years.
