Per San Joaquin County Sheriff:

“Yesterday, April 17, at around 1:30 pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Tam O Shanter Drive and Hammer Lane in Stockton for having tinted front windows, a violation of California Vehicle Code 26708(d). After initially speeding up, the driver pulled over and stopped. One of the passengers was on active probation, and all four occupants were detained while a compliance check of the vehicle was conducted.

Two unserialized short-barreled rifles with high-capacity magazines, one unregistered pistol, and over $4,500 in cash were found in the vehicle.

The following individuals were arrested and booked for various firearms-related charges:
🔹28-year-old Brianna Lane, of Stockton
🔹19-year-old Jaymani Gorman, of Stockton
🔹20-year-old Tayveon Brown, of Stockton
🔹20-year-old Richard Taylor of San Francisco

All four individuals are documented gang members.”

A San Pedro man pleaded guilty today to his involvement in an armed robbery last year at a Palm Desert jewelry store and was immediately sentenced to eight years and four months of state prison.

Rayjon Thorton, 26, pleaded guilty Wednesday afternoon to one felony count each of robbery and being a convicted felon and narcotic addict in possession of a firearm, according to court records

According to court records, a victim restitution hearing was set for May 11.

Colton resident Demetrius Thornton, 23, Joshua King, 27, of Compton, and Karina Ortega, 22, of Tracy, are accused of robbing a jewelry store owner June 28, 2022, with Thorton, according to Sgt. Daniel Milbrandt of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Ortega, Thornton and King were each charged with two felony counts, one each of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon to cause great bodily harm, according to court records. King was additionally charged with one felony count of being a convicted felon and narcotic addict in possession of a firearm.

Newsom looked like he was hosting a hip hop award show Friday as he put his John Hancock on Assembly Bill 2799. The signing went down in an online forum that included Too $hort, Meek Mill, Killer Mike, Tyga, YG, E-40, Ty Dolla $ign. and some other industry heavyweights.

The new CA law prevents prosecutors from using rappers' lyrics in court as circumstantial evidence ... unless a judge first reviews and approves it. Before the Gov. signed, several of the rappers talked about why the bill was so important

17-year-old son of Freddie Trone has been arrested in connection to the shooting. We're told the son was the shooter, and Freddie drove the getaway car.
Sources also say the father and son duo were already in the restaurant's parking lot when PnB arrived, seemingly removing the possibility that PnB was targeted from a social media post from his GF showing they were eating at Roscoe's.
