Had the absolute sweetest session with Diana and Brendan.

I love photographing my clients in their homes. Home is the place where we feel most real, open and comfortable and it creates a safe space to express love. Being photographed isn’t natural for most so when we can create an environment where it is okay to be who we are, magic happens ✨ looking forward to documenting Diana and Brendan’s wedding in 2024!

Reception and cocktail hour are usually my favorite moments to photograph at the wedding. So much is happening. So many people laughing, hugging, dancing, ..so much life!

Susana and Byron's wedding took place at the very house where Byron's parents had tied the knot, a place filled with cherished memories from his upbringing. Capturing their intimate celebration on film was a truly special experience. 📸✨

Shooting on film definitely had its unique perks and challenges:

1️⃣ It allowed me to be fully present, without constantly checking my settings after each shot.
2️⃣ I was forced me to slow down, immersing myself in the surroundings and patiently waiting for that perfect moment, almost like predicting the future.
3️⃣ Trusting my instincts became paramount. Despite my usual self-doubt, the absence of instant feedback forced me to rely on my skills and seize the moment.

Love me some garden weddings. This venue reminds me of my grandma’s backyard in Germany. We’d gather with our (very large lol) family and just enjoy each other’s company for hours. All the uncles, aunts and cousins gathered.. I miss that! I do miss some things about Germany, but I definitely miss the people the most 🥲

I really enjoy second shooting. It gives me new perspectives and angle.
