In the green room before the KARE 11 segment the Lebanese dancers show the little kids how to dance. Learning and accepting other cultures is exactly what the Festival of Nations is all about.

MN State Fair 2013

What's your favorite thing to do at the MN State Fair? Well, if you are one of the lucky ones going to the first day tomorrow - come see us! We promise it will be one of your new favorite - must see things at the fair. Can we compete against chocolate dipped bacon and sweet martha's cookies? You betcha we can! We are performing on the Festival of Nations stage in the International Bazaar at noon, 1:30, 3:00, and 4:30. Come Shaka with us!

Busy tomorrow night? Yvonne will be performing a the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer benefit at 571 North Snelling Avenue in St. Paul at 7pm. The benefit is from 6-8:30pm. Many other good things too: Harpist Sunita Stoneslow will play Celtic and Jewish melodies, free drawings for massages, and lovely hand pampering with Mary Kay satin hand products.

We really hope you come visit us at the Festival of Nations this year! If you've never been, it's quite the experience and it's a lot of fun. Not only great entertainment for the whole family, but lots of great food, fun stuff from around the world, and lots of learning opportunities for the little people. Plus belly dancers, of course!
