Do I live a double life? Why, yes I do! 😂 I was getting ready this morning and looking back on my fashion journey the last few weeks and man, did I go for it! This past year was rough for most (including myself). But one thing I realized was that while I can’t control the majority of what happens in my life, I can control what goes on my body everyday. So I chose to start having fun with my wardrobe again and let me say…it has been sooooo spirit lifting! I pulled out things I haven’t worn in years, traded clothes with friends and cleared out all the “just okay” stuff from my wardrobe. In turn my creative juices started to flow and my daily getting ready routine is now my favorite part of my day. I now dress to have fun. I dress because who cares what other people think. I dress because life is too short to wait for a special occasion to wear my favorite vintage maxi dress. And you know, it hasn’t solved all my life’s problems but it has brought a lightness to my daily routines that I kind of really needed this year. So here’s to having fun again in 2024. 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 How are you going to find your fun again in 2024?
