Riding lessons & horse training. “Give a horse what he needs and he’ll give you his heart in return.”
The last post on miss Briar.. for now 😉. Briar excelled all my expectations. She went from being super scared of life to getting rides on her and enjoying getting brushed from kids. She still has some things to work through and is definitely a sassy red mare but I am still amazed at her progress. Her owner is taking her back for 2 months and then will most likely have her come back to me in January.
Promo time! The buy 4 get 5 lessons is back, but with a limit. I will only have 5 spots open for it this year.

How it works:
You buy 4 lessons by the end of November (or until the spots are filled) and get the 5th free. These lessons must be used before 2026.

🌶️ Chili🌶️ this is the newest member of the herd, look at her baby bump 😍. She is due to have her foal next February and we () are soooooo excited. Chili is bred to a stud from the same ranch and bloodlines as Cinders.
Happy Happy Fall!! 🍁🍂

Briar update:
This last week Briar got 4 more rides on her, and I got a few trot steps both directions 🙌🏼. She was really unsure of me being on her while she trotted so we went back to walking. The next step is to build more confidence with her before asking for speed again. She has walked around the entire arena both directions with me on her, which is a big accomplishment. She hardly did that by herself without getting scared.
*
She did have 1 day when she decided to try and buck but it was more sass and not a scared buck. So I’ll still take it as a win.

For now miss Briar Rose will be staying with me - as she needs many months to get confident and well ridden. She is still pretty unpredictable, but she is learning to think instead of blow up which gives me hope for her.
Briar: this little mare has come sooooo far. From bucking every time with a saddle or anything scary to letting me hang out on her back. I haven’t asked for steps yet but as long as everything keeps going good and she keeps her thinking brain on steps will be asked of her. She has become so chill and is becoming a thinker instead of just reacting to everything.
Briar got her first spray down today 🙌🏼 she loved it. After one little jump scare she stood perfect and even stuck her whole head in the spraying hose 😂. I forgot again to film it but it was quite entertaining. She’s coming along very well. I’m taking everything in her speed. But she’s had weight in the saddle and I’ve sat on her a few times this week to get her more prepped for riding. She still has random blowups so I am going to tackle those next week and work with more bit pressure.
Meet Briar Rose, my training horse for this month and next.. she is a 7yr old Warmsprings reservation mustang here to learn about being a good citizen, and just all about life in a busy barn. Before briar came to me she was pretty much scared of life with little confidence. After a week with me she’s learned that life isn’t so bad, and she’s learning to think before she reacts. I’m excited to see her progress in the days to come 🙌🏼
Lessons are back in full swing! August has a few more openings and the rest of the year will be opened up soon 🙌🏼
Dutton has been living his best life. He is currently on a grow grow grow plan before I start putting rides on him. Which will be next spring if he grows 😂. He has shed out beautifully and looks to be a dunalino 😍.
My two mustangs up in Newberg area went through a parade on the 4th. They both did a great job! So proud of these 2 🥰🇺🇸🥳 (Saphira and Ronen)
Very proud of these 2!! Pepper packed her owner on 2 trails beautifully. We had to pass other horses and dogs on tight trails and she kept her cool. She’s been gaining more and more confidence and do has her owner.
1 spot just opened for the 7-10yr old June 6-8th Camp! Spread the word, this will be a super fun camp. Cost is $300
This little handsome man is growing up! Dutton has learned sooo many new things and is a pro at standing tied. He’s also loved getting to go out to pasture with the other horses, in the beginning he was pretty scared of them. Now, he and Maverick are good buddies and Dutton is very respectful to the ladies.
I’m so excited to announce this girls arrival to T3 horses! Cinders is a 4yr old AQHA cutting bred mare with a bright future. She’s been ridden on trails, pushed cows around, and showed as a yearling. If all goes to plan she will be the start of my T3’s breeding program. I never imagined this day would be here, especially so soon but when opportunity gives you the perfect horse, how can you say no 😂🙈. With that my goal, and my business partners (also friend 😊), for breeding is to produce working, calm minds with a solid and correctly built body. We are wanting to stay within the ranch versatility and barrel racing Quarter Horses. The last few years, I’ve noticed a lack of quality horses and decided if I had the chance I’d breed and produce those quality horses everyone wants. A working horse with a smart and good brain. Something you could run barrels on, push your cows on, and then let your kid take a trail ride the next day.
Meet the new client horse! Peppermint (Pepper) is here to get refined under saddle and to get prepped for lots of trail riding this summer! Stay tuned for updates on this little paint mare.
