Twisted Designs
Drawings, Photography, and Designs, oh my!
Trying Huevember, since Drawllowen\Inktober got away from me. Figured simple does it for Day 1, and Ceej asked for Pooh and Eeyore! This was done entirely in LayerPaint, which is an Android OS app. Not quite user friendly yet, but it's coming along! Glad I wanted simple anyways though. Low to no brush control made shading next to impossible.
I didn't miss or forget day 4, I did a combination piece with day 5! Vampire and Werewolf! This is Stefan and Ben from the Mercy Thompson series after the events that take place in the second book. Poor traumatized children!
I may even go back to this one at another date and finish it. :D
Pointilism. Simple. Beautiful. Painstaking and basically makes me feel like the invention of the multi-needle mechanically-driven tattoo gun was necessity.
I have this view that you should occasionally return to techniques you hate to see if you still hate them. The answer for poinitilism is yes, and my arm is very sore.
Drawlloween day 2 is Devil. I like to think of Devil secularly as "temptation" ... and I am a sucker for art supply sales. Especially when I hop on a drawing band wagon and don't want to kill all my fun pens! Also grabbed the recycled sketchbook today too!

Surprise second doodle of the day! An hour before midnight, learned about Inktober and went WELP THAT TOO. Later in the month I may try to combine them, or I may keep doing unique pieces. Who knows.
So http://artists.pixelovely.com/ glitched today when I went to do figure drawing, so I ended up just doing a looooot of 30 second poses.
So many poses.
I may revisit some of these to turn into full blown works. I like the poses.
http://artists.pixelovely.com/ does some training exercises, including classic training class style (10 30 seconds, 4 1 minutes, 2 5 minutes, 1 10 minute). I chose felines today, and for some reason got a horse in my batch. Let's see how it goes.
Twisted Designs is officially reopen for commissions!
Is it a selfie painting, or a portrait of David Tennant? The world may never know.
I am considering opening up commissions specifically for quick bust portraiture like this. This exact example would've been priced at $5. They can be more detailed (shirt/suit/dresses at the collarbone, any facial details like scars, piercings, tattoos, etc, more refined lines).
Any interest?
Well, I haven't done anything PARTICULARLY exciting that I can post about lately, but here's some anatomy studies in mouths I did today (did more, but these ones are my favorite from the bunch)
Expressions are pretty great, man.

Hey guys! I participated in this AWESOME community art contest and we had about 30 entries. Likes are the way you vote, and you can vote for however many you think are awesome.
But I would particularly appreciate it if you liked my entry, obviously. ;) (And told all your friends :D )
FLOCK OF LITTLE BIRDS CONTEST ENTRIES
FOR ALL TO SEE AND VOTE UPON!
We had just shy of 30 entries come in before the deadline. I think that's pretty amazing!
The rules:
-I am about to post links for each entry, one comment at a time. Winners will be chosen by number of LIKES on each link in comments. Find the ones you like best and click LIKE. You may click LIKE on as many entries as you please, but you may only LIKE each entry once.
Got it?
Vote on as many as you like!
-Be nice. No mean comments.
-The comments containing the entries will be at the top of the thread. If the comment thread gets long, just go to the top to find the contest entries.
-If you missed the contest and have no idea what I'm going on about, please don't leave a comment to ask me. You can read all about it in the original post: https://www.facebook.com/sjtuckermusic/posts/10151601182343715
And now, on with the shiny!!
I raised just under $500 for therapy and medical bills last month, and part of that was thanks to people sharing and showing my posts/links around. For everyone who so much as looked, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
I see my new therapist on Saturday to really try and begin therapy. I see my new doctor on the 16th to discuss diagnosis and treatment options. I've gotten a few commissions from my fundraiser to do, and once they're finished, I have two major portfolio projects and lots of little ideas that I hope will bloom pretty well. (I don't stop being an artist/taking commissions just because the month ends, right? Right, hypothetical me!)
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Operation: Thriving Artist
Please spread this around. I have 13 days left of fundraising, and am terrible at self-advocacy and marketing. Partially because my mental health problems tell me there is no value in me, no worth. It says that my work is poor, that my problems don't matter, and no one cares. I know logically I can do better than that, but *I desperately* need your help. I have a lot of reconditioning and healing to do, and I can't do it without therapy.
By contributing to my campaign, you are saying that I deserve a story that ends the way I feel it should, rather than the way abuse has written it. You are saying that mental health matters, that art matters.
There is a "share this campaign" link. If you share this, you will get referrals. For every 10 referrals you receive, I will make you a small sketch. If 5 people purchase, you will get simple colors.
It is literally painful for me to ask for help, but I desperately need it. People say all the time "I wish people would ask me for help" - this is me, asking on my knees.

I have some exciting news for you!
Twisted Designs is having a crowdsource to raise funds for the owner/operator to get some needed care and move into her own place! All perks are art commissions, and through IndieGoGo's system, you can purchase multiple perks from the same campaign - even anonymously! As is often the case with crowdsourcing fundraisers, commissions are value priced and there are some *sweet* bundles available.
More information is available at the campaign page:

My apologies for the lack of material this weekend - unexpected car problems arose and were very distracting. I have an exciting announcement tomorrow however, and new content is still on it's way!
The traditional and digital art folders have been cleaned up and some additions have been made!

*dusts off page* A flurry of new activity coming up next week, to open up a very special project! An opportunity for you to say what -you'd- like to see more of; still life, characters, animals, designs, color, etc! I am sad to say that until further notice, *new* traditional pieces will not shown.
Twisted Designs is running a 1 week sale on sketches for the holidays! Commission a $5 dollar sketch for someone you love! Holiday Sales will benefit Jordynn's college fund.
Okay, finally made my art blog type things. Hopefully, I can keep up with them all.

Also, these dashboards are complicated and confusing ;_;
Today's art post will go up around 8pm.

A traditionally rendered version of my godniece's Pegacorn my Uncle commissioned for her. For those curious, a Shire horse is the base, real Swan wing anatomy and feathers were used, and the attachment of the horn is based off rhino horn anatomy.
