My brother started in the factory at Crestwood like 25 years ago. He then moved on up to the Design Center, then kept moving to his current position, Sales Director. I hadn't been out there for awhile, & today I was just awestruck- serious gorgeous cabinetry!
My mom is an artist of sorts, too - she was a very talented pianist, she was a skilled seamstress, always a creative crafter, & the best cook. My sister was a gifted vocalist & lover of all music - so I guess we're kind of 3 peas in a creative pod!
Anyway, if you've never been to Crestwood, head out there & be prepared to want it ALL 🫶

@Weatherwood Stains Light Oaking is so amazing! Enjoy this time lapse (actual time = 20 minutes) & then hang around for how gorgeous it is when I add an oil based topcoat- remember that with these Reactive Stains, every wood will react differently, which is so cool. Is your marketplace find solid wood or did you get swindled? • Solid wood does NOT mean it's going to be really heavy - some solid wood pieces ARE super heavy, but mdf is a much heavier product. • MDF stands for Manufactured Dense Fiberboard. It is engineered composite "wood" - think sawdust & wood shavings + glue, heat pressed unto sheets. Why isn't it super desirable? It is definitely climate sensitive. Humidity, temperature, moisture, & many other factors cause it to warp, swell, & break down. • Veneer IS wood. It's a thin sheet of wood usually placed over a less desirable wood. It can be sanded & stained, but be careful not to blow through it. Don't feel bad if you get solid wood duped. It happens to the best of us. This video will show you a couple of ways to check pieces you might buy. I see pieces on marketplace all the time advertising they are solid wood... & I've had that piece 5x so I know it's definitely not, but if they're made well, they're still useful and can be a lot of fun! www.flippingfabuloussalina.com #flippingfabuloussalina
