Hi darling Saline, Ann Arbor, Dexter, Chelsea and Milan friends :) I am giving a presentation next week on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 from 6:30PM-8:00PM at the Saline District Library 📚 catered to middle school children, young adults and adults who are interested in learning about how to harness your hidden superpowers 🦸‍♀️ 🦸‍♂️ with your ADHD brain 🧠. I promise to serve humor, positivity and as many organizational hacks as I practice or have learned about along the way in my own life as an ADHD brain myself and professional organizer. Registration is required for the space, but the event is FREE! 🩵♥️🩵 Just bring your sweet self and anyone you would be delighted to share a room with and I will be prepared to answer any organizing related questions or help you find a hack for any ADHD challenge. The take home message is that I am here for you & yours and would love to help you feel your most AWESOME self living in your beautifully-blessed brain :)

I am sitting in my 3 little daughters closet right now typing this as I fold sweatshirts, swap out heavy sweaters for spring wear & make piles for donations. What are the places in your home that make you feel lighter when they are organized? I really feel skippy when our refrigerator is feeling good about itself and is sitting pretty with some wiggle room and not stuffed to the brim with mysterious mushrooms and styrofoam containers. Life can get too busy & the lettuce 🥬 will start to wilt and the leftovers will start to stack up again, but a quick reset on a Sunday evening can make Monday feel 🧘‍♀️ 🌅 ✌️♥️🌈 Fridge’s need hugs too :)

How can I help you this week? 🤗

Sometimes I have to tell myself these 5 things after dropping the kids off at school in the morning. It’s incredible how quickly you can reset your brain when your car is suddenly quiet & you are rest assured that they are safe and have their lunches & rain boots and homework folders and sports equipment all set for the day. When are they going to make bigger backpacks 🎒 for kids? How about a suitcase for toddlers!? Mornings are nuts, but we are all in this together🥰 hers

Sweater Weather Season has arrived & it just excites my soul to think of all of the merriment that comes with this season in Michigan: Pumpkin Patches, spontaneous snuggles in front of a fire, Cozy Candles 🕯️ & lots of family time spent on the soccer fields with muddy shoes and hooded sweatshirts. This is my favorite time of year & it is usually when I am the busiest, so keeping our home simplified and and ready for each day is key to our wellness. I will be opening my organizational sessions to book from now-December 20th, 2023, so I can be available for anyone in need of multiple sessions :) I hope you and your families are enjoying a most snuggly October. Last week, I was gleeful & grateful for the opportunity to organize a truly delightful College Coach’s athletic office on Campus during move-in day! 🧢 It was such a fast-paced day that I only managed to squeeze in 1 reference to the Almighty “Ted Lasso” tv show, which continues fill my heart with giggles and happiness🤭. (Please watch it, if you haven’t already!) If you are feeling cramped in your office & need some space for clarity, please feel free to message me & I would be happy to send over a list of my favorite office organization supplies :)

Do you have a hidden sanctuary in your home that is all yours where you like to escape when time is on your side? Most of my clients would say that the majority of their home is dedicated to their children’s belongings: toys for sure, art supplies, back stock medicines & toiletries, sporting equipment, school supplies etc…and the list can go on and on. How would you feel if you could behold a special place where your creative energy can soar, free of sticky fingerprints and spilled animal crackers? 🪴 🌸 I think it is just as important for adults as it is for children to cultivate a place in their home where they can just sit down & reset for the day. There aren’t bills lying on an desk waiting to be attended to or a room full of to-do’s. I would love to help bring that space to light for you! If you can dream it, you can do it!

Today, I was so excited to work for my very talented & beautiful friend who is a business owner, Mama of two littles and a most talented Seamstress (in her spare time.) Her Sewing Studio in her home is magical 🧙‍♂️ & she was so very warm to welcome me into her favorite place today. We had quite a lot of fun using my absolute favorite collection of acrylic organizing bins from & I may just start advertising for them for fun because I love what they do so much! Thank you for being such a joy to work with 💗

How is your home office working for you? Has it become your own, peaceful sanctuary where your coffee station is readily available & your favorite pens and post-it’s are at an arms reach? I would love to help you marry your home & work life so you can enjoy both worlds equally & feel the right balance.

Decluttering can feel like an-all encompassing, never ending task when you are already wearing so many hats in your life all at once. Helping Mama’s overcome their overwhelm is the greatest reward and honor. When you only have 30 minutes of energy left in your tank at the end of the day:
1. Put on an uplifting and energizing podcast that feeds your soul 2. Take a bite out of that Snicker’s Ice Cream waiting for you in the freezer for a quick dopamine boost :) 3. Grab 2 very large trash bags & write “Donate” and “Trash” on a piece of painters or masking tape to adhere to each bag 4. Set a timer for 30 minutes and choose 1 room to declutter for the entire 30 minutes, only placing items in either the “Donate” or “Trash Bag”, leaving other more complicated decisions for another day. 5. Unburden your mind of the objects that are stealing your space, clarity and happiness and take those two bags immediately to your trunk. 6. Practice this peacefully ritual 3 times a week until your trunk is comfortably full & drop off the donations in the same week. 7. Celebrate your productive week with some much deserved rest and take a beat to sit in the calm of your newly renovated space that didn’t cost a dime.

Recycling info if you live near Ann Arbor, Saline, Ypsilanti or Pittsfield Charter Twsp: if you are overwhelmed by Amazon boxes 📦📦📦 stacked high in your home or have recyclable containers from food: milk containers, Costco sized boxes of Cereal or used canned goods, you can get rid of all of it today for $3! Just pile up your happy vehicle 🚗 with broken down boxes and drive to this location during the hours they are open, pay a $3 entrance fee and free yourself of the loads of unwanted items. If you have furniture you want to part with, you will pay $15-30 for most singular items: chairs, sofas, tables etc.
