**Update**2024 race season is off and running. We have been working hard, making some improvements to our chassis and suspension this off season, tested in early February felt really good about the car, then the track put sealer in the cracks and it took the car from being darn near perfect to complete opposite direction as we learned on the Wednesday before the season opener. After throwing the kitchen sink at it, we thought we had it in a good spot for race day only to find out the sealer and track changed again and almost had to put everything back to where it was when we unloaded Wednesday… needless to say opening day was a long one, race time car fired off good, but quickly got free in and also was hitting the track hard, thankfully a caution came out and was able to come down pit road to make some chassis adjustments under the hood and got back out there and the car started going again, by that point I ran out of laps to get a top ten(was in my reach) and wound up 11th. Definitely not the night I was expecting to have. We were rained out last night and thankfully now have a little extra time to work on making some changes and getting this thing dialed back in. Thankful for my right hand man(Ben) calling the shots and giving his advice on how to make it better lol! Great memories being made! Reminds me so much growing up. Next race is March 23rd! JPM is looking for some help at the track and possibly shop. Looking for spotter, crew member(s)/mechanic(s). We are hoping to run as many Limited Late Model races as possible that are left on the Hickory schedule. Ideal candidates would have experience in but not limited to spotting, bias-ply tires, asphalt late models, bump stops…. But will also be willing to train the right person(s).
