It’s been three years!

August 2020 I took a leap of faith, in a pandemic, uncertain but driven and began Evy Collective.

Little did I know that the fear of owning my own company would prove rewarding and successful.

It hasn’t come without doubt, frustration, sleepless nights, endless hours of hard work and some losses.

But three years in I have so much gratitude for the achievements which have been made and for everyone that has supported me, believed in me and has been a part of this journey with me.

Cheers to the remarkable manufacture partners that I am proud to partner with and who allow me to represent them.

August will always be special! It was the month little Evelyn Harper Owen was born and Evy Collective was born too!

What an opportunity to take 22 young and aspiring interior design students to tour three amazing industry partners offices.

Evy Collective winning BEST OF SHOW at last nights Iida Intermountain Chapter Design Remix was really cool, but the friends I get to “work” with every day are even more cool!!

BEST OF SHOW win for Evy Collective, Henriksen Butler & Fräsch at last nights Iida Intermountain Chapter Design Remix Event!

The event was a masquerade ball held at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium & our team entered a “Steam Punk Diver” (diver helmet as the mask & diver backpack as accessory - to meet the contest “mask and accessory” criteria).

Evy Collective was paired with Henriksen Butler and our team selected Evy’s Frasch Acoustics product line to create the costume.

It seemed fitting since Frasch Acoustics PET it is made with recycled plastic bottles and our team loved the environmental message of keeping our oceans clean.

Thank you to team Henriksen Butler & Frasch Acoustics for the endless hours and materials it took to create this BEST OF SHOW Steampunk Diver!

After fifteen years in the commercial furniture industry which started in dealer sales at CCG Howells/Haworth Dealership, followed by directly representing major manufacturers Geiger and Herman Miller Collection, Pilar is now a proud independent representative – or as she prefers to say a “dependent rep” – dependent on relationships with designers, A&D, dealer partners, manufacturers, and customers.

Evy Collective was founded in 2020 by Pilar Schuman with a simple goal:
To bring good design to good people.

Relationships matter. As does great design, quality, innovative products, budget, reliability, and trust.

Pilar is passionate about interior design and floral design. Her love of gardening, growing and harvesting flowers and floral design transcend naturally to each project’s colors, materials, design and overall organic look and feel.

Evy Collective, named after Pilar’s first granddaughter Evelyn Harper Owen were both born in August 2020.
