Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most frequently occurring rheumatic disease caused by metabolic changes in joint cartilage cell (chondrocytes.). PEMF therapy has proven to be effective for the management of this condition. It typically takes years for OA to develop, and that is why it is most common in the elderly. PEMF stimulates tissue repair and is effective in treating pain and improving function in OA, typically about eight weeks following treatment with no toxicity or side effects.

What is the difference between TENS unit therapy and PEMF? The primary difference is that PEMF therapy induces current IN tissues; electrical stimulation on the other hand applies currents TO tissues. Because PEMF uses magnetic fields, it can generate charges much deeper in the body. Because PEMFs induce charge IN tissues, the tissues can only produce as much charge as they are physically capable of doing. Tissues cannot be overcharged by PEMFs. However, electrostimulation can actually burn tissue. PEMFs can not. (See Magnetic Field Basics by William Pawluk, MD, MSc.)

This man has a fabulous story or two to share about recovery and using PEMF!!! Even daily use for four weeks at our office (estimated cost at $1,260) is cheaper than having surgery or going through the pain and suffering for years.

I have two PEMF 8000 machines. One is waiting for YOU!

THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, it is simply showing you how one man was able to heal through the use of PEMF. I have a similar story to share about my torn meniscus and recovering through the use of daily PEMF. (When my orthopedist finally was able to "work me in" to his schedule, I was able to cancel that appointment because I was already walking without pain or crutches. I'm fully recovered through PEMF use alone. Again, this is NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, simply sharing our own personal experiences.

Think you've tried everything for your pain and inflammation? DID YOU TRY PEMF? PLEASE READ THIS:

PEMF therapy is an innovative treatment also known as Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. It’s a cutting-edge approach often used in orthopedics to help heal non-union fractures, failed fusions, and to alleviate pain in conditions like arthritis and inflammation, and even depression.
The technology is FDA approved and is popular with healthcare professionals as well as horse and animal caretakers.

How PEMF Therapy Works
PEMF therapy works by using electrical energy to create magnetic pulses that pass through injured tissue. Each pulse generates a tiny electrical signal that encourages cellular repair, making it highly effective in bone healing and reducing inflammation.
This method has proven its worth in treating soft-tissue wounds and reducing inflammation at the cellular level, which supports pain relief, improved mobility, and faster healing. Hospitals, rheumatologists, and physiotherapists have documented its wide-ranging benefits in numerous studies.
The essence of PEMF lies in its use of electromagnetic fields, a principle that has been medically applied for over 2,000 years (magnetic therapy).
Dr. Andrew Bassett, a pioneer in this field, believed that PEMF would become as significant as pharmacology and surgery in treating various conditions including musculoskeletal, heart disease, arthritis, and neurological disorders.
