It’s a good thing I practice planned crafts well in advance! These little love bugs require more dexterity and hot glue than I imagined. We are revamping a love bug craft for littles because can you imagine toddlers wielding pink sparkly poms, googly eyes, and hot glue?! The The Chicken Farm Art Center would never be the same. 😂

I wanted to introduce everyone to the people behind the scenes! We are a family of five, with a passion for creating and playing! This type of space has been a dream of mine since I began homeschooling my children and I’m ecstatic to see it come to fruition! (I’m not pictured because I’m always holding the camera 😂 ) We are so grateful to the The Chicken Farm Art Center for partnering with us to bring this opportunity to kids of all ages in the Concho Valley. Come by and check it out February 3rd from 10-5. We can’t wait to see what you create!

How much red does it take to make the perfect pink? More than fits in the paint bucket apparently. 🤣 Process not product! Even in prepping the coop, we learn! Come learn through the process with us.

Working to get things set up! Our sensory nook and our STEM corner have some awesome lockers from Bombshells.beautybar. We are so thankful for them but we think they need some color! Come by for First Saturday - February 3, 2024 10-5pm to the The Chicken Farm Art Center and paint your hand print chicken on our lockers and become a permanent part of the Kid’s Coop.

All of our creative activities are kid tested before we decide to bring them in! Tonight we got out our new art dice and my teens have been rolling and drawing for the past hour! I think this one may be a hit for the older creative minds! These will be available to explore at First Saturday on February 3rd. We can’t wait to meet you all!

Our goal at Kids’ Coop #9 is to support creativity, growth, and understanding of one’s self through expression. Whether that be with paint, pencils, clay, or even music or science. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable space for all children (even the adult variety 😉) to be themselves and create, without judgement or strict parameters. Please come join us every First Saturday at ! Be on the look out for other creative opportunities in the coming months!
