Yes, all the library books 📚 are due in the library but the reading 👏🏼 does 👏🏼 stop 👏🏼 over the summer.

Dia de los Mu***os 💀 is an ancient tradition celebrated Nov.1 & 2 in Mexico and other places around the world. Students learned about the different elements that are typically placed on an ofrenda this month and their significance.

This year our ofrenda focused on our beloved animal companions as inspired by the book Remebering by local author Xelena Gonzalez and illustrator Adriana M. Garcia. 🐾

Thank you to all our students and staff who participated and brought photos of their pets to display.

Finding the “perfect book” for our wolves is always the highlight of my day!

Mr. Trevino’s 2nd Graders had to chance to sit and read with flashlights after check out today.

You’ll be surprised how a little flashlight can spark up a new level of reading engagement! 💡
