This post was in my notes list for too long! And it’s finally the time to publish it!
So excited to say that Starting July I’m a full time business owner!
You guys made me so busy! YOU made my business, my idea, my baby SUCCESSFUL!
I gave 3 years to nails and received back even more! I have YOU!
As business grows - more tasks I have. I will be working on growing this salon, educating more techs and making our team even stronger!
Also we have a huge new project coming up that I’m so excited about! 😍😍

Nails are my passion, of course I can’t quit completely, I’m not breaking up with anyone🥰 You can still request an appt with me and my price will start at $150 for manicure or pedicure. ⛔️We do not soak your feet in water to soften calluses to take them off with the foot file or cheese grater
⛔️We do not over file your skin so calluses come back faster
⛔️ We would not apply gel of it will make the situation worse
⛔️ We do not apply useless products
⛔️ We do not use cheap products
✅ We will file off dry skin safely with a professional podiatrist machine
✅ We will suggest and apply product for your particular need
✅ We will not make you uncomfortable during the procedure
✅ We will remove cuticle to the safe level and apply polish extremely close
✅ After 4 weeks you’ll keep looking at your toes and doubt if you really need a pedicure already

You know that I always share with you and I’m always honest.

🤔Social media is now my everything and the appearance means a lot. So we add filters to make us more beautified and we totally forget about the actual look of our skin. Why? Because we can always add filters! We post pictures and we hide our imperfections by editing them so people think we are nicer, that our lips are bigger, eyes have deeper color, no dark circles etc.

😨But I found out that people are not only watching me on Instagram! I see clients everyday and I meet followers outside of my salon: In the malls and coffee shops! I want to look like a picture. Wait. No. This is not a correct statement.
✅I WANT TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL WITHOUT ANY EDITING AND FILTERS.
✅I WANT TO GET COMPLIMENTS ON MY SKIN!
✅I WANT OTHER WOMEN TO LOOK AT MY FACE AND THINK “how’s her skin is glowing and smooth?!”
✅I WANT PEOPLE TO NOT GET DISAPPOINTED WHEN THEY SEE ME IN THE REALITY!

A lot of you have a glowing skin naturally, or maybe you eat right, maybe you are consistent with a skin routine, maybe you don’t have kids and you sleep very well, maybe you don’t get exposed to chemicals, maybe you don’t have a pigmentation.
But I also know a lot of you are dealing with the same thing I am dealing with. You can’t eat “right” all the time, you live cakes and have cheat meals sometimes, you are keep buying cosmetics but it doesn’t seem to help a lot. I feel you. I got Elena

Ladies! Just a reminder for you: if you have long nails - please book a service that says “long nails hard gel”.

Besides the cost of the product, long nails take more TIME! Please note: if you have accidentally booked short nails but coming with a long once - your reserved service time is shorter that it has to be. In this case we won’t be able to do our job properly.
‼️Long nails take more time for removal, shaping, structuring gel and color application. We charge more for our time and it is fair. We don’t want to do a sloppy work on you!

⏱SERVICE TIME
This nails☝🏻 1 hour 15min. Long natural nails. Removal, manicure, hard gel overlay.

At the beginning g of your career you might notice that you are extremely slow. THIS IS NORMAL!

If you are providing such a detailed manicure that will last your client 4 weeks it is normal to take time in the beginning of your career.

When I hire a new nail technician who has never done this type of manicure is struggling with a timing. Why? Because time os money, right? Faster you work - more clients you can serve - more money you can make. However each skill takes practice. More detailed job you do - more practice it takes.

But how to get faster?
✅ first thing to do is to figure out what exact steps in your service slow you down. For that - use the timer for each step.
EXAMPLE: removal 30 min, shaping 15min, cuticle work 40 min, gel application 15 min, color application 20 min.
After breaking down your service - detect what exactly slows you down.
✅ Practice more every day. Again, practice makes perfect. If you don’t have clients in the beginning - take models for the cost of service. If you don’t want to work for free, I get it. Take your mom, friends, sisters, cousins. Practice on men - their cuticles are a good practice.
✅ try not to talk too much. Focus on what you are doing. Analyze each step.
✅ take classes and never stop learning.
✅ try different products. Don’t use low quality once
✅ NEVER USE CHEAP TOOLS! Invest in your tools, it will make your job more pleasurable and will help you to achieve better results.
