Trevor Higgs joined HUB San Antonio’s sales team as an Employee Benefits Consultant. Trevor graduated from Texas A&M in College Station, earning his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate. During his college career, he was active in Pi Kappa Alpha and served in leadership positions. His past work experience includes a highly successful sales internship, and he runs his own small business selling vintage clothing and memorabilia.

Liliana Rojas has joined the HUB San Antonio sales team as a Commercial Lines Consultant. Liliana graduated from St. Mary’s University in May, earning her BBA in Finance & Risk Management. During her college career, she was active in Gamma Iota Sigma, an international professional insurance and risk management fraternity, and she held several leadership positions related to insurance, business, and student government. Past work experiences include an insurance internship, inside sales representative role, and running her own home-based business.

Kate Williams has joined HUB San Antonio as our summer intern in Employee Benefits. Kate is a student at Trinity University, majoring in HR Management with a minor in Art & Art History. She has previous internship experiences where she organized HR events for HR executives and where she worked with a local recruiting firm. Kate is the president of Phi Delta Kappa sorority, which is dedicated to inclusion, scholarship, and service. She has also worked on campus as a Student Philanthropy Officer. Plus, Kate is a freelance digital artist, painter, and character designer.

Erik Dillard joins HUB San Antonio today to begin his summer internship in Property & Casualty insurance, in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. Erik is a student at St. Mary’s University, majoring in Finance and Risk Management and minoring in Communications Studies. He is a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, an international professional fraternity organized to promote, encourage, and sustain student interest in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science as professions. Plus, he has a great entrepreneurial spirit and creative talent, as evidenced by his freelance work as a photographer.

🎉 🎊 This week we celebrate Frances Frias, who after 24 years of service, is retiring from HUB. 🎉 🎊

Frances was an integral part of our Employee Benefits team, working with many large employers and serving as our Bilingual Coordinator. Frances is the epitome of a team player, always having a great “can-do” attitude and always helping team members when they were in need. While at HUB, she had a great passion for educating and assisting Spanish speaking employees so they could make well-informed decisions on their employee benefits that impacted themselves and their families. She often met with employees at the crack of dawn and throughout all parts of the state, meeting them wherever she needed to meet them, even if it meant by the side of the road. Frances is truly the best, and we thank her for her dedication and service to our team and our clients.

We're ready to Fiesta in San Antonio! Starting with festive music at our morning huddle, followed by a fun Fiesta break complete with aguas frescas, chicken-on-a-stick, sausage-on-a-stick, corn-in-a-cup, and more music, and plenty of Fiesta attire among the team.

A cloudy day may have made viewing the eclipse tricky but it didn't interfere with enjoying a fun afternoon break. We started with afternoon snacks and then gathered on the roof of our parking garage. When it grew darker, downtown building lights illuminated as if it were nighttime.

Our Eclipse Day themed Monday morning huddle was a blast! Our trivia game was a combination of thirteen science (after today's eclipse when is the next total eclipse anywhere in the world?) and pop culture (Total of Eclipse of the Heart release date?) questions. Our playlist was epic! Snacks, too. Later today will be a viewing party!

Happy Eclipse Day! Our team started the day with an appropriately themed Monday morning huddle, with a playlist, trivia game, and snacks and we'll have a viewing party this afternoon.
