In times like these, it’s important to stick together and show support for the community. 💕CommonWealth will be donating Tokens of Gratitude, to healthcare workers. We would like to extend an invitation to our community to add any additional donations. Your donation will go to help cover cost of tacos, pastries, coffee, and other food that CommonWealth will be taking to different departments of the hospital daily. With every donation, you may leave your own Token of Gratitude on postcards that will be put on display at the hospital. We are grateful for all the hard work that these people do for our community everyday and we hope that this small Token of Gratitude will show a small appreciation for what they do. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask or ask your barista when you come in! ✨

🌱🌿Have you heard of Color Therapy? Well the color green is especially known for its balanced healing properties. It encourages comfort and equilibrium, and is believed to be beneficial for the heart, lungs and circulatory system.
We miss our green friends at all our locations - like these sweet cheerful succulents - but they are being taken care of whilst we are closed.
Hope you can spend some time out in Mother Nature’s healing palette this weekend. 🎨🤩❤️

✨☕️Until we can have you all back to enjoy CommonWealth, we thought we would share a little help to ensure that you’re enjoying your French Press coffee the best way possible!☕️✨
Carefully measure out 30-35 grams of coffee beans.
Grind coffee beans to a course setting. A finely ground coffee will make for a cloudy muddled cup of coffee, and it certainly makes plunging the filter tricky.
Heat up 16 ounces of water.
Place the beans into the French Press.
Once boiled, allow the water to sit for approximately 30 seconds, and then pour gently into the French Press. Boiling water scorches coffee beans, so do remember to allow for a pause before pouring into the carafe.
Place the lid on top and ensure the filter sits on top of the water.
Let it sit for 4 minutes. This will help brew a rounded flavorful cup.
Gently plunge the filter down through the coffee.
Your coffee is ready to enjoy!❤️

🥐☕️We made a pastry and coffee run to a couple of city hospitals. A small gesture of thanks, but given with enormous gratitude for their tireless work.☕️🥐
And to you ALL; thank you for staying home, for practicing social-distancing as best you can, for wearing masks when you’re out, for home-schooling children, for providing help to family, friends and neighbors, for supporting a spirit of determination and positivity, for every example of kindness, patience, consideration, humor and generosity. The stories of incredible humanity - in just our city alone - are phenomenal.
There is a lot of love out there, people. A lot of love...❤️✨
