Timing is critical. The skill of combining natural and artificial lighting is crucial for a successful image. Sunset photos are among the most anticipated photos that your clients will be excited to see.
It’s very important for the client and the photographer to coordinate and plan for that perfect moment.

Details may not seem like a high priority on such a busy day.
But many years after the couples 1st anniversary, the small details will be cherished and appreciated. The shoes she wore, the perfume she wore and the jewelry she wore on her wedding day.
Don’t skimp on these things that may not feel very significant. To the bride/groom, they are.
Thank you friends and followers for your continued support. 🙏🏼

Great photography isn't all about weddings/people. There are tons of other things that can be photographed if you just look around your surroundings. I found this bat sized moth hanging around my fence/gate. I noticed it about 11:00 am but I couldn't photograph it at that time. After I ate lunch I decided to go check to see if it was still hanging around. Obviously it was, so I took the opportunity to shoot it. This "Batman Moth" as I call it, was photographed with my Nikon Z9 and a 105mm f/2.8 Z MC lens, ISO @ 400 Aperture: f/8, Shutter @ 1/20th using available light. Camera was mounted on a tripod with 5 second delay time to avoid camera shake during exposure button release. Please feel free to ask any questions and/or comment. Thank you for looking!

Come dressed! See ya there!
I photographed Isabella (Bella to family & friends) at the historic Market Square AKA “El Mercado” in downtown San Antonio.
Bella is celebrating her Sweet 16 on September 7, 2024. She has interests in cheer and a deep love of all genres of music, but she has a special place in her heart for classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. 🤘🏼
Bella has a younger sister and 4 awesome small dogs, but her favorite pets name is Chiquita. Bella is now a junior in high school. Please help me wish Bella a very happy 16th birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Bella!

This is Denise and she will be graduating Summa Cum Laude on October 5, 2024 from Strayer University.
Denise earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Computer Forensics and is part of 5 Honor Societies.
Denise has also earned her associate’s of Applied Science in Intelligence Operations Studies from Cochise College all while maintaining a full time job and raising her two daughters, Angelina age 11 and Esperanza age 8.
Please help me in congratulating Denise for all her accomplishments. I’m sure her 2 daughters are very proud of their mother.

95% of the time I’m an OCF photographer, but on this evening, I met this amazing model by chance. She agreed to model for me for about a half hour. We were able to get some amazing photos in that time.
See her IG
Thank you Wren!
Here are a few sample results from my 1st real world experience with my new camera.
This mirrorless camera is a whole new animal that’s going to take some getting used to, but I think I’m off to a great start.
Huge thank you to for being my impromptu model for the evening.

Gentlemen gentlemen gentlemen….
The proper way to sport a 3 piece suit/tux is to unbutton the coat at ALL times.
A two piece suit is buttoned (with a single button) when standing and unbuttoned when sitting.
You might want to grab a copy of GQ magazine and read over it once in a while.
This is not a good look for your wedding day photos.

San Antonio Photographer
I began my love for photography arts when I was just a teen ager. Through the years I was self taught through lots of trial and error. I shot my first wedding in 1994. It was pretty much a disaster, but when I think about it, there’s nothing I would change about that early learning experience. Since then, I have shot countless weddings and events capturing moments that will last for generations. Although my specialty is weddings, I also offer photographic services for sports, banquets, special events, and portraiture including family, high school graduates/seniors, bridal, engagement, corporate/professional headshots, and model portfolio.
Thank you for taking a few moments to read my bio. I’m hopeful one day I can capture YOUR special moment/event.
