Kenseido will be moving to our new location Evolution Fitness
with classes restarting on November 29th.
Children’s Classes will be on Tuesday’s and Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30 PM Adult classes - Monday and Wednesdays from 5:30 – 6:45 PM

Found this old brochure. Nearly all of the foursomes in this Tourney were SA Spurs players, coaches, and staff. They really showed up to support us!

The dojo is closed this week due to out-of-town commitments on the part of the instructors. Classes resume on October 26th.

Not just a statistic anymore, vacc'd friends of mine have covid (though less severe). We'll be masking at the dojo and in public again starting now.

This handkerchief was sensei's secret weapon for getting unlost on Tokyo Metro.

At the Longhorn Classic International Kendo Tournament c. 2006 w/ Shimpan Shoichi Morinaga Sensei. Morinaga was Winslow Sensei's teacher from 1990 -1994 and flew in to be a judge as this TaiKai. Looking forward to getting back into bogu for Monday night Kendo at the dojo.

Big News! Kendo is moving to Mondays at 6PM - 7:30 PM !!! May add Wednesdays in the near future!!

Summer training is in full-flight at the dojo! Tues, Wed, Thurs, & Sun.

Summer schedule update: children's classes begin at 5:30 on Monday through Thursday throughout the summer. Adult classes begin at 6:30 on Tuesday and Thursday. Self-defense class is 6:30 on Wednesday's. Kendo is 9:30 AM on Sunday's.

SAPD Sgt. Det. CSU life-long martial artist Omar Omungo brought so much insight to our self-defense class tonight!

Next Wednesday, SAPD Seargent /SAAFE Officer /detective and CSU Officer well bring his personal safety expertise to our Self-Defense class. Late enrollments are still open.
