The Patagonia, Arizona Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project, funded by a $500,000 grant from NADBank's Community Assistance Program, has won two prestigious awards. Se celebra inauguración de la nueva planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales y estación de bombeo que beneficiará a los 12,500 residentes de Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, , al mejorar el tratamiento de aguas residuales y reducir la contaminación de las fuentes naturales de agua superficiales y subterráneas que son compartidas entre México y EE.UU. El proyecto recibe recursos no reembolsables de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental de EE.UU., a través del .

El evento, incluyó un recorrido por la nueva infraestructura y fue encabezado por la Alcaldesa de Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Nátaly García, el Jefe de Obras Públicas Raúl Quiroga, el Dr. Luis Carlos Alatorre Cejudo de , el Jefe de Obras Públicas Estatales Pedro Cepeda y los representantes de NADBank, Laureano Álvarez y Carlos Acevedo.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today to celebrate the completion of a new lift station and treatment plant that will benefit all 12,500 residents of this border community across the from Los Ebanos, Texas, by adequately treating the wastewater collected and thus reducing the contamination of surface and groundwater resources shared by the U.S. and Mexico. This project is receiving a grant from .S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 through .

The event, which included a tour of the new infrastructure, was led by Gustvavo Diaz Ordaz Mayor Nátaly García, Public Works Head Raúl Quiroga, ’s Dr. Luis Carlos Alatorre Cejudo, State Public Works Head Pedro Cepeda, and representatives Laureano Alvarez and Carlos Acevedo.
