White Carrara Marble is a natural stone that has been around for such a long time! From ancient buildings and statues to, now more commonly, a household countertop surface. Many people have been hesitant to commit to the stone due to its porosity, but if well taken care of it will stand the test of time. Just look at the Taj Mahal [built between 1631 and 1648]!!!
This marble is characterized by its white base, with soft grey veining. It can come in many different finishes, the most common being polished [shiny] and honed [matte].
