Tomorrow is the big day! Please if you haven’t already, be sure to cast your vote.

It is so important for our Pasefika collective that we raise our independent voices about the need for our communities to be seen and heard; and that we show up when it counts. View any of our previous posts and again we also encourage you to visit the pages of our Pasefika partners - .grad - if you’re in need of any voter information, tips, or resources.

10/30/2024

Conservative, liberal, democrat, republican, independent. Wherever you stand, make sure your voice is heard!

Californians can locate their polling place here:
https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/polling-place/

10/28/2024

Did you miss California’s online or by-mail October 21st Voter Re-/Registration Deadline? Don’t fret!

In person registration may still be available to you at your county election office and local early voting place any day prior to election day. On election day (November 5th) you may also be able to go to your nearest polling place, register AND cast your provisional ballot on the spot. Your vote will be counted once your registration is fully verified and processed.

10/23/2024

November 5th is fast approaching! Do you know your voter status?

Californians can check their voter status here: https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov/

10/21/2024

When we show up, we come big, loud, and boisterous! Why should November 5th be any different? Are you ready?

In the days leading to election day, we’ll be sharing some helpful information for California voters. We encourage you to visit the pages of some of our Pasefika partners who have already shared some great voting info and resources - .grad   💙🌴🤎

We received an amazing donation of backpacks and school supplies from a company with facilities located throughout the Inland Empire. Although we wish we could give them their flowers, they have humbly asked to remain anonymous. Nonetheless we thank them immensely for their generosity and investment in our tamaiti’s academic readiness and success, and wish our kids an awesome school year ahead! ❤️📚🎒

T.Y.S. would like to invite you all to our 2nd N.E.R.U Day in Carson, CA on AUGUST 24, 2024.

This event is to bring more awareness to gun violence in Pasefika communities by shedding light on the stories of families affected and providing a space to shift or change the perspective that those impacted are not defined by their trauma and grief, and recognizing that they are more than victims- they are survivors. N.E.R.U. Day is a day of resilience, healing and community. Come out and join us!

Our Sāmoan ancestors were known for our strength as mighty warriors. The strongest muscles in our bodies are our hearts and our minds. When we take a knee to practice techniques like R.E.S.T., we're not accepting defeat. We are exercising our strongest muscles and strategizing how to move with integrity and intention.
