113 for a lot of our first day! So what am I doing for the 4th of July you ask! Installing insulation and an AC in my trailer.🙄

Last Saturday the girls were at it again.

This time another Wolfivan WP Tennessee Whiskey*B daughter took the spot light

🏆HJ Summit Farm TW Lady Love recieved her 2nd leg toward her permanent champion status. Lady was a late born kid and has just turned 2 year old and to top it off is a ff. So to say this is exciting is an understatement. This was Lady’s first show as a milker🎊

-Hooligans Farm RY Forever Love was 1st place/1st udder 4 year old milker

-Wolfivan WP Tennessee Whiskey was 1st place Senior get of sire and 2nd place Junior get of sire( behind a mature group of dry yearlings)

🏆 Sonview Ranch Ritzy was Reserve Jr Grand Champion.

-HJ Summit farm Lil beloved was 1st place Senior kid

Our buck Primrose Hill U Enigma *B has done it again and sired the grand champion Jr doe. His daughters went 1st and 2nd place Intermediate kids 🍾🎊

The princesses made quick work of finding their throne! 🙈

It’s official the HJ Summit Farm herd will be east bound to Louisville in just under a month 🤮

Our kidding season will be wrapping up I suspect in the next 24 hours.

I will be going through my does (most in milk) and doelings as I’ve retained/ not posted Way to many. Doelings available are all out of Old Mountain Farm Yellow Cake *B , HJ Summit Farm Golden Legacy *B( My SG Wolfivan WP Patchouli x SG Algedi Kinetic Riptide +*B son), and I even have 2 Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi *B kids available.

I will also have 3 very special buckling prospects available.

I will have some room and can meet on the trip to Nationals.

The Exiting news I was waiting to share our buck Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi*B. Has his First Finished Champion daughter at just 2 years old 🤯! Congrats Renee so happy for you and Love.

I Also own Love’s daughter Wolfivan I shot the Sheriff. So this was an extremely exciting win

Another successful goat show!

We had some really great placings yesterday at the Southern California Dairy Goat association Nutty goat show.

HJ Summit Farm TW Love Lost was grand champion JR. In ring 1

Old Mountain Farm StPattiParti was Grand Champion JR in ring 2

HJ Summit Farm TW lil Beloved was Reserve Grand Champion Jr doe in ring 3.

It’s official!!

Our First Monoi Babies have arrived 🎊🎉

Beyond excited that in just T- 5 days or so my first Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi *B kids will be here.

This past weekend both of his littermate sisters were shown in a Very competitive show. Placing very well his littermate sister Wolfivan Tahiti Sweetie (owned by HJ Summit Farm) took Reserve Grand Champion in Ring 2.

His daughters won every 2 year old class I believe with Wolfivan Valerian Root going reserve Grand Champion in ring 1.

The first breeding due is with HJ Summit Farm TW Summer Love.

Summer got her dry leg as a senior kid in 2022 at one of the first shows of the season. Her Full sister HJ Summit Farm TW Love Lost was also first in 1 of 2 rings she was shown last weekend.

I am very hopeful that this combination of 2 of my Favorite boys ( Wolfivan WP Tennessee Whiskey *B and Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi *B will be a slam dunk.

All I can say is Wow!

What an amazing weekend it was For the HJ Summit Farm Herd.

From almost cancelling all together. All the way to Best in show.

Highlights from the weekend below more details on placements tomorrow. But so pleased with how these girls are stacking up.

🏆 Wolfivan TW Heavens to Betsey received her 2nd leg toward her permanent championship in ring 3 under judge Todd Biddle.
🏆 Wolfivan Tahiti Sweetie was reserve grand champion in ring 2 under judge Jenn Tereba was not shown on day 2.

🏆Sonview Ranch Ritzy was Reserve grand under Judge Dan Laney

And

🏆HJ Summit Farm Black Widow was Grand champion and BJDIS under Judge Todd Biddle.

I feel a bit like where is Waldo lately 😂

We got an extremely late about 15 hours start🙄

But the girls and I are headed to the Arizona Memorial Day show.

Had some great placings this weekend at the Orange County classic.

The highlight of the day was taking Reserve Grand champion with HJ Summit Farm Golden Legacy*B.

I don’t typically show bucks as to be frank. I don’t really care what they look like as long as their daughters are nice.

Legacy is only a yearling and was competing against some other lovely mature bucks. So this was super exciting to see. He already has several beautiful young kids.

I am soo happy to have this amazing buck. A huge thank you to my friends at Amores Farm for letting me use Riptide for this amazing cross.

Yesterday marked what should have been the end of our kidding season.

HJ summit Farm summers Dream kidded with a single Monster doe by Wolfivan WP Tennessee Whiskey*B

This was a tight linebreeding on Whiskey and boy am I excited about that!

Well late last fall I got a golden opportunity to purchase Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi*B. Which if he needs an introduction frankly you have been living under a rock😂

Patience is def not a virtue I posses so with this news I decided to breed a few more yearlings. About now I’m questioning that decision. However, right after Monoi arrived a very promising 2 year old that I had previously marked as bred came into heat. This was both sad and extremely exciting. Now I could breed her to Monoi🎊

In just 20 +or - short days we will welcome our very first Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi daughters 🎊🍾🎈

Monoi brings with him an absolutely star studded pedigree as well as he is well on his way to being a truly “Proven buck”. His daughters took the 2023 Nationals by storm placing 1st, 2nd and 4th in the yearling milker class. Now that’s what I call consistency. The udders this buck is producing are spectacular. Which is no suprise given the lovely udders behind him.

If you are still looking to add to your herd I have open reservations. I will also hopefully get pictures posted next week of available doelings and I may have 1 or 2 bucklings available as well.

I am just going to start out by saying I am beyond proud of my girls. In the last 2 weeks I have pushed these girls pretty hard. All of them have rose
To the occasion and exceeded expectation in most cases.

Though there are many does that deserve a shout out I would like to start with one in particular.

HJ Summit farm PP Syrup

This doe went out and scored a VEEE90 as a 2F right out of the gate at just 10 days fresh. Rebounded beautifully went to her first show the following weekend where she placed 4th behind some amazing does (I would def say nationals quality lineup). Then came home less than a week later and milked 5.9ibs on milk test.

This is exactly what I want a whole herd of 😍

Seriously I don’t breed for color but this little girl may just be the cutest ever!

Bonus she has beautiful confirmation and Pedigree.

Clivia decided today was the day!

She delivered a good size single buckling without a peep!

Owlhaven P Clivia is the dam to our HJ Summit FarmTW Minnie Mouse who went Jr grand Champion last year.

Clivia was bred to Wolfivan Kentucky Derby (Wolfivan CQ Kentucky Bourbon x Wolfivan Ruby Begonia)

When you’re only a few weeks old but you were born to be a champion!

HJ Summit Farm KD Regret was 1st place in both junior kid classes this weekend. Never to early to start them out right 😂

We had a rough start to our first show of the season. Unfortunately I had to scratch a few does the rest weren’t at their full potential but we still had some great placings.

Literally every single kid could be a keeper 🤮. It’s a good problem to have in theory….. until you have it.

This one cuts deep, pretty sure I’ve been quoted on saying I would never sell a doe kid from Julep. But she gave me quad doelings what’s a girl to do 🤷🏼‍♀️

So with that said I have a very special doeling looking for a performance herd to join.

D:IlenesRascals Mint Julep VEEE89 at just under 3 year old 2F. Appraiser commented he would change nothing she just needs time.

Julep went Jr Grand Champion and best jr doe in show at one of her first shows out. She went on to be 3rd place at Nationals that year. She also was first place in a few rings last year as a 2 year old FF.

Julep is the daughter of the 2023 National Premier Sire Wolfivan CQ Kentucky Bourbon *B. Whose littermate sister was just scored VEEE92 and was the first place 2 year old at the 2022 national show.
